Thanks much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the trip report. It was fun to research and write up the places I visited in the Pine Barrens. I just noticed that the view count has shot up to 118,000--holy smokes! Something tells me that some major Pine Barrens site must have spotted this report and added a link to it. Either that, or one of our members is trying to set a new Guinness record for the number of times that anyone has read the same post over and over… (He should have picked a shorter one!) Thanks again, Rick |

I am honored that you included my Brooksbrae Brick Factory Underground video in your fantastic post about the history of the Pine Barrens. Thank you! It was an hour underground well spent, hahaha!

You're a far braver man than I! I really enjoyed your video of worming your way through the factory tunnels, but it also gave me Virtual Claustrophobia. Glad you liked the report. Happy exploring! Rick |

Fear not, I am alive and well! While I'm normally 95% retired, throughout Sept, Oct, and the first half of Nov, I was –10% retired; that is, I was working really hard. I'm now finally at the point where I can start planning my next trip. Thanks for your concern for my well-being, and stay tuned! Rick |

Rick your travel tales fascinate me. After I bread your article, I show my wife highlights. Coles Notes!
I regret selling our 335 cab, which was identical to yours. Looking forward to your next tale.

Waiting for more! Great story telling! One of the most exciting articles tha tI've read in many years!
P.S. sorry for critique, but the only thing I wished for was if pictures were not as heavily edited. It's always nicer to see a real sky and clouds, without color edit. I like your style, but it's just for historical documentary story telling - I think keeping photos as untouched as they were would be fantastic |

Hey, great to hear from you! I'm close to finishing a report on my search for Pennsylvania Fall Colors. This adventure should have happened last October, but I broke my wrist the night before. Most of the trip ended up taking place in late March this year--and, for some reason, I didn't find much in the way of autumn colors. There were lots of other interesting things, however, so stay tuned! Rick |

Great, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the Pine Barrens Part I so much! It was a fascinating place to visit. FYI, the Pine Barrens Part II is also available. Part I was picked up by Redit and a number of other sites and has now been viewed almost 330,000 times. Part II is struggling along with only 45,600 views… :roll eyes: As for my oversaturated photos, I'm definitely guilty as charged. I'm trying to dial them back for my forthcoming report, but with only partial success. It's a hard habit to kick! Rick |
