Checking the Port of Halifax's web site, it shows the Fidelio in port with a departure time of 16:30 this afternoon.

Confirmed. It looks like Fidelio is right on time but unfortunately not early.

Guys... we got one more day!!!... I have been trying to ignore the fact that my car is on some boat but now that it is so close I cant help but think about it...

Sucks for me though my CA is on vacation and wont be back in till Monday. So I will be looking at a Monday-Tuesday pickup even if it gets there on Saturday.

I hope customs doesnt give some BS and hold onto the car forever because its ED...

It seems that customs has been holding onto cars a little long these days for EDs. The anticipation is killing me. My valentine 1 should be in anytime now for the trip back north from my PCD.

I called Wallenius Wilhelmsen logistics in Jers.... They said it should arrive at 8:00am tomorrow morning... Hopefully they get to work and offload everyone so we can have saturday deliveries... Im in NYC so i hope it can happen.

Sounds more like early next week post customs. Being in NYC you might just make it though, I'm rooting for you.

They essentially prep the car for final delivery and repair any minor damage done during shipment.

My cousin's ship docked at NYC on May 3rd (Maersk Wind Vessel) and we are looking at an early to mid-next week arrival so I think you guys are being a little optimistic

BTW, Solonnq, where are you from in Fla? My parents retired to Venice about 20 some odd years ago. Have thought about moving there myself... Longer Triumph driving season, and great bass fishing.

If anyone in the NY/NJ/PA area gets calls from their CA's let us know. I am expecting pickup sometime next week... Hopefully Tuesday-Thursday.

EDIT: I am hoping for a pickup date...

My CA called me today. Said my car wasnt even checked into the VPC yet, though it was off the boat. He suspected that it would be checked in and shipped out on Monday, and told me that delivery would be Thursday if not sooner. <shrug>

But since someone else from the dealer told me Today or Monday for delivery, I am not holding my breath!

Has your BMW "My Account" updated from in transit to at the the VPC? What about the 1-800 number?

Both still say "En Route" for me. Which doesnt supprise me since my CA said the car hadnt been checked into the VPC yet!
