very good! very relaxing and very productive. i exercised for 2.5 hours of mantis + 1.5 of pumping iron. I stained some furniture pieces that i was supposed to stain 1.5 years ago. I went to a fund raiser, in which i didnt pay a penny

Anyone ever have Cream Puff's from Beard Papa's? MMMMmmmmmm. It's a Japanese bakery type of deal, they have one in the Japanese Market off Harbor/Baker. Marukai? (sp)

Harbor/Baker? isnt that Mitsuwa? or is there another one in the area? i know mitsuwa is close to there, but not quite on harbor...

I've never tried... i'd love to try, cream puffs are probably my fav. sweets of all times

someone should start a sticky of all recommended food places in SoCal and what to order/why they're good/price range. By someone i mean John hehe

They're so yummmm.....
They have one at the Puente Hills mall, by my parents'.
Everytime I swing by there I need to pick one up. Ooh their eclairs....

Mitsuwa is by South Coast Plaza off Bristol/Paularino. That whole place is bigger. Marukai is cheaper and basically just a grocery market with a small food court. There is a bookstore in the same place as well.

Speaking of Japanese food, I had ramen @ Shinsengumi in Fountain Valley this Sunday. Soooo good.

Costco doesn't compare. You can't compare frozen food to real bakery made cream puffs. The cream puffs @ Beard Papa's have a hint of vanilla and their outer layer (pastry part) is very fresh/yum. Just go there and try it. Harbor and Baker. Take the 405 N > Exit Harbor > Turn Left > Plaza is on your left, can't miss it.

not talking about the small cream puffs. im talking about the freshly baked ones that look similar to these (sorry for the giant picture, that's all i found on google)

No, I don't have any intentions of going up to Pasadena on Friday atm. I have to check the +1's schedule. My sister might deliver anytime this week, not sure if I want to go too far.
