well I go our and look at my car. and what do my eyes gaze upon? condensation in the fog light I've already had that housing replaced and tried to make a tighter seal with the housing. now I'm just gong to lay down a thin silicone bead underneath the rubber seal of the bulb, dry it out then spray some or that BMW anti-fog solution in the housing. well see how this shit works

hmmmm those could be umnitza ones, but I also know eBay has a lot of those style ones on there too. Is he ABSOLUTELY sure they are umnitza ones or just ones he got from Jlevi? When did he buy them?

hmmmm... well i know for 1 if he's had um for a few years it might actually be the ballasts that went bad, however the halos going out would make more sense. Maybe he should ask Jlevi exactly what brand they are, I don't think they sold "Umnitza" brand lights but maybe he is just using it as a generic term like "rollerblades" or something.
Either way baking isn't too hard. Like I said, just tell him if he can get all the screws out that hold them together, baking them at 200 deg or whatever for like 20 min is fine and they should come apart no problem... I just couldn't get all the screws needed to open them up for it in the set I had, which are NOT the same as his so hopefully he'll have better luck than I did. |
