Sounds like you want angel eyes and want to switch your low beam to something like an HID or even LED kit. |

I have a 2006 320d I'm really looking to get Angel Eyes, I am looking to buy them cheap (maybe something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/AutoStyle-S...70_&dpSrc=srch but I want that clean white xenon look about them. From what I've read so far it seems like I must install an LED kit myself in order to get this look. Am I right? If so could somebody point me in the right direction for this. I may order these lights now in the next few days if it seems like a good idea.

How much would I be paying for genuine headlights to fit my car? I might risk it and buy them and hope for the best.

Hey Guys,
I have had the Lux Angel Eyes for about a year now, and I have noticed some differing color between the left and right side lights. Its rather difficult to photograph, but despite the temperature being set the same the left side lights seem slightly bluer. Additionally, the outside ring lights seem dimmer and the color perhaps not as uniform around the 'horseshoe' as some of the examples posted on here. I'm sure this is operator error, anybody have any protips? |

As for color, have they always been like this or is it something recent. Send us an e-mail directly and we can help out. Sales@luxAngelEyes.com |

Looking to upgrade to LED
So I am looking to upgrade my stock halo eye bulbs to LED...I already ordered them on eBay but am thinking twice wether I made the right decision on what to purchase (https://goo.gl/RKpNjr). This is my first BMW, so be nice to me LOL.
Aside from that, how easy are these to install? |

Lux is right, those lights you bought came out a good 7 years ago. LED technology is like computers. The latest technology in drivers and LED advanced very quickly and often. When you have the itch for something brighter you should check out the latest offerings from vendors here. |

Here's mine:
http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16333 It was done a few years ago and the pictures were taken with quite a bad camera which seemed to apply some colour / brightness variation between shots. Now have a much better camera so am happy to repost some newer pics if anyone wants to see them. |

Make sure they are aligned correctly in the headlight housing first and the the pins line up correctly. If that doesn't fix it then please e-mail me.

Sorting this out... 2009 LCI 328i sedan
One angel eye / DRL side burned out and I'm looking at the best current options for a 2009 LCI 328i sedan with halogen & the Valeo housing. Any recommendations that are _definitely_ compatible? Or guidance on how to determine that...
Yes, I searched and read forums ad nauseum, and it keeps raising questions. Some posts are ancient, and there are newer products. I never imagined it could be so complex (finding the bulbs, and what is the install)!! It seems like these are well regarded - Lux (1 or 2 choices...) GP Xtreme (looks like 1 choice for me) Weisslicht (looks like also only 1 choice) Mostly $150-200 ... then others $25-50 on Amazon & Ebay, I assume short lifespan. A couple of others, Lumro and High Performance Bulbs/ HPB at $80-100 w/ diff wattages So that's the main question, is compatibility, it isn't clear at all! The LCI, ok, have that, and stock halogen. Will that be enough to narrow it down..? Here are other things that have confused me -- The 63117161444 and 63112179077 are the stock products... I think mine has the 63112179077. Amazon and ebay listings for LEDs, have those. Are these interchangeable, or need some tinkering to substitute...? Some places say it's H8 bulbs... stealership indicated not, said the stock replacement is ~$60 and there is only one choice... didn't help much Seems like the low end LED are around ~10-12 watts. Most above, over 100 watts. Shouldn't you keep it close to the same as stock... but I can't find the wattage of the stock bulb? Anyone know? Looking at the products pictures, it seems like I need the kind with two LED's facing forward... but I see other configurations being sold as well...? I'm thinking those wouldn't work... same for H8 because it wouldn't be oriented correctly, even if it fits On youtube, Urbandriver's video has him unscrewing a circular cover at the back of the housing... it's also a LCI E90, but mine doesn't have that. I think I need to go through the wheel well. But the main thing... finding the right friggin lights. I'll still do the install myself if it's just removing the wheel well... not jacking it up tho... I may be wrong, but some models use angel eyes as DRL, others don't... Mine seems to. I think that was set through the dash computer. They're on with the headlights too. This may not be important. I can add a pic, if needed... I'm sorry because I'm sure this gets asked repeatedly... I literallly have looked for hours already but it just keeps opening up new questions. I'm not too picky about the brightness or the color... I'll buy once I narrow it to a few that will work. My friends, any way to help with the mystery please! I popped the hood and walked away for 1/2 hour. Came back to it without my CA fob and changed lights, buttoned it back up and restarted. Has worked for two restarts now, and hopefully permanantly.

You need lights for 2009 E90 LCI Halogen - they are not H8. Your installation is probably best done through the wheel well. The HPB lights you mentioned may be older versions, the newest version is 160W, one of the brightest available. |

Alright, so I had the Lux H8 180 installed on my E92 2007 Pre-Lci for about 2 months now and so far so good. I just have a question about the installation.
I just swapped it out and put it in the hole and once it seemed secure I moved on to the next. Can you confirm that the outer ring will be more dim compared to the inner ones? Also is there a certain position by from installing the Lux H8 180 where it shines more directly onto the "optic cable"? I am asking is there any difference by rotating the unit slightly then installing it so the LED can shine directly on the optic or no matter how you put it in it will yield the same results due to how it locks in? |
