so if my car barely made it onto the courage (production ended 10/10), does that mean it's by the exit ramp? please hurry!

Nahhh, they filled the dock up first, with yours being the last one at the dock before they started loading - so its was the first one on!! It might be the last one they get off. Hey, it might ride down to Baltimore or even Charleston, with mine!!

Aredouble, I'm assuming you've confirmed with WWL cargo tracking that your car is (was) in fact on the Courage?

Sorry, it's just that we had a false alarm before when Rhooki thought he was on Courage when in fact he was on an earlier ship. I got all excited before my hopes of an early delivery were crushed

My CA is still being all discouraging with the "5-to-10-to-14 business days for processing." Ugh. So lame.

Btw, I've never owned a car before in my life (moved to Manhattan when I was 18), and the wait is killing me. I can only imagine how you guys who normally drive but are carless now must feel!

Cmon now.. I'm on the courage, shipment offload & inspection started today. My CA has been dead accurate, she called today & told me thursday.

I live in NYC too and will be keeping mine in a private lot.. 325/month

Quick question guys -- are you going to let your car get washed b4 pickup? Does the wash (and I assume it is a sh*tty automated one) happen at the VPC or dealership?

The Prestige dealerships sure commands a lot of power, I love that dealership. 3.5 years ago I drove to Jersey to do some test drives, and their great service sold me my Cooper.

going local with this purchase, but my CA at Bayside has been great too!

They wash off the wax coating (for transport) at the VPC, then wash it locally at the dealership.

Probably just a batch update of the system...I wouldn't be surprised if they did it after the ship left. Its unlikely that the previous events all happened at 10 PM...what does yours say? If it's exactly at the same time, then I'd say it's 100% not an accurate representation of when it was actually discharged.

Going by bill of lading number, all 1383 cars unloaded show the same time.

Boston deliveries are being delayed 3 hours today. Trucks can't get up Comm. ave to Herb Chambers because of the Sox victory parade. NY deliveries will be on schedule.

Wait, does that mean that vehicles from our shipment have already cleared the VPC and are on their way to dealerships? Or is there a VPC in the Boston area that they're headed to?
