I would also amend the list and say with regards to subframe bushings from weakest to strongest
stock inserts (more of a refresh than an enhancement ) M3 Yellows purple black derlin or full aluminum. Derlin if entering sanctioned autocross, full aluminum if you aren't And add rear toe arms and rear diff lockdown. |

The only reason people dont uograde to M3 sway bars is because reducing flexibility in the rear, reduces grip. So if you dont have an LSD, then keep stock rear sway bar or maybe increase slightly with a non-M E93 stock rear sway bar |

Ok all you sway bar fans. I have an e93. I'm installing:
KwV2 AKE black subframe bushings Wavetrac LSD rear diff lockdown M3 Strut brace Possibly rear toe arms Or M3 front control arms I know the e93 has a bigger rear sway. To upgrade handling would you swap to M3 sways? Front or rear or both? Is there a difference on M3 vert sways? If there is which would I use? I've been told only use front M3 sway but maybe the LSD would help. Thx |

Alright guys I have the zsp suspension kit on my e90 335 with m3 control arms and tension struts. Also have spacers all around with ps2 tires. I'm looking for a more responsive front feel on the steering wheel. Will a front sway bar help here? I had oem endlinks that are brand new installed

Good info but idk if it answers my question. I get that a larger sway bar can lower traction by transferring away too much pressure from a tire lowering traction. However I don't think they added larger sways to the M3 to lower the traction. I'm looking to be balanced front to rear, and be planted solidly for acceleration. It seems the best solution may be an M3 front sway and stock rear. I plan on running one of 3 rear setups at different times. 295-305 Bridgestone Potenza RE -11, 275 Michelin PSS, or 275 hoosier R6 drag tires depending on the situation. Matching 235-245 fronts except tiny fronts for drag mostly Which is straight line and once or twice a year max. Would the wider rears with my upgrades make adding a front sway balance the car for 4 wheel drifts in corners and make it feel more planted?;

Another one of The Hack's gems here. Upgrade Front Sway Bar Effectiveness from The Hack Cliff Notes version: Once the front suspension travel goes pass the roll center, camber begins to decrease. Stiffer front bar adds corner stiffness and keeps the front from going pass the roll center. Too thick of a front bar and you'll lose traction. It sounds like you're at the stage to introduce a change in sway bar and a stiffer front should help balance out the wider rear tires you're looking to use.

Which M3 sway? Aren't their two? A 26mm and a 28mm (Performance)?
Also, anybody know the stock 335is sway diameters? Lastly, is there a section or some photos of people on the B12 setup with 313 19" or similar wheels to show the actual drop/stance? Thx

So what is the M Sport? Is that a 26.5 that tapers to 23mm? Or 26.5mm all the way through? Can't find that anywhere.
