It's comforting to know someone amongst us knows when the rest of us need to focus on the important stuff!

Here's one place I've found- Bentley Brook Inn, Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

Just one quick point- the day after the meet is Mothers Day, so we may need to sort out timing, if some of us are to avoid getting a parental 'slap'!

I took a good 12 seconds to type in "recommended pub B&B derbyshire" into Google & out popped that place, somewhere along the line!

I think I'll give them a ring tomorrow & see what discounts they are willing to offer.

If they won't budge, I'll tell them we are willing to do an advertising photoshoot outside their pub, as long as all the other cars park elsewhere & we get a feature in 'Pub Grub Monthly: BMW meets B&B'!

I would have thought it would be an honour for a local B&B to have the likes of our fine group as guests?!

I spoke to the manageress of the Bentley Brook Inn today & she told me that they only had 3 twin rooms available, so unless we fancy sharing rooms, then we'll probably have to find somewhere else to stay on that Saturday night.

She wouldn't budge on the price either, because it's a Saturday night.

Although, I reckon the MF & paddywac would probably quite enjoy sharing a room together, wouldn't you boys?!

Guys,

I'm not sure if they'll have rooms available but can I recommend a fantastic pub for a stop off anyway? (mightbe worth checking on the rooms as they might have them).

It's called the Monsal Head and it's about 3 miles outside of Bakewell. There are some great driving roads around there anyway but this place does fantastic food (try to get tables in the old stables) and great beer!
