I ordered the deluxe model toaster. Will it come with the little chrome darkness knob, or the black plastic one?

The manual's recommendation is wrong. Full heat is necessary for the first 1500 slices of bread.

You can always buy the shadowline trim after you take delivery of the toaster.

Did you also get the CA option?....it's the one where you just place the bread in the toaster and it goes down automatically.
