Good for you!!
The longer I have my car the MORE I love the color. I'm so glad I "went" for it. I get so many compliments and I feel like mine is the first one they're seeing. Not too many on the road YET! |

My Barrique Red is on order (actually on ship coming over at the moment). Dealer had one on the floor or I would have never even considered it. Just struck me as a great different color. Don't know if i'll get tired of it or hate it when I get it but. Didn't look to me like the configurator or brochure but. Then again, I'm into different colors - my corvette is daytona sunset orange - probably can't park the 2 together.
Will try and post pictures when it arrives. |

saw this color at the dealership on a 330ix. hung out and only heard from people that either, "it 'll take some getting use to", or "didn't like it" or "now, that's different. don't know if i like it or not, but definitely different..."

Blacklines & Barrique
I decided to give the blacklines a try because the white plastic edges on the stock US lights were driving me crazy (not in a good way)....
IMHO the blacklines go very well with Barrique Red. I'm glad I made the change!

I took my E46 for service yesterday and they gave me a E90 Barrique Red to drive. We love the color, it's quite unique and really turns heads! I had prevously seen this car at the dealership and had not impressed me. The interior is light tan which I find impractical since it gets dirty and shows scuff marks from shoes, etc., real easy.
This is the color I want, but with Terra interior. I think it would look quite classy. |

Here's mine... sorta
Well since it's stopped raining (for now) I had some time after work to snap a couple of shots of my car...
I'll try to get some more when it's light out tomorrow but I guess here's a teaser. |

hmm, trying to decide what color I want. I like this color in some pix, and not in some others. Would be nice to have something a bit different. I like it when it looks brownish, but not so much when it looks plubish. I'll have to see it in person.

most metallic colors have different hues depending on light, even seeing it in person once isn't enough. On the other hand, chameleonism itself could be perceived as outward expressionism, that is, being unconventional and fluid. BMW color palette is all good, so choice is hard ...
