Tested on my 05/2009 with Ipad and ELM327 wifi. Can code CAS, IHKA, KOMBI and FRM. Won't let me code JBBF and CSM as it's telling me I need the official adapter because my adapter isnt good enough. Everything else is pretty good tho. Would love to see some more option !

THe option you are speaking about is to add the option to on/off drl as they can do that in states.

I think the lite version will tell you if you have codes, but won't tell you what they are. You might be able to send the log file to the author and get the codes that way.

In case anyone is wondering about bulb error codes and battery registration, i emailed them and got the following response:
"regarding clear the "bulb out" warnings and also to register a new battery - The app can clear all faults it finds, you can code a lot of bulb features - Registering new battery will definitely come!!!" I also asked for clarification about their connectivity chart, as it seems to me that it implies more functionality with the bluetooth adapter than a cable connection on models after 03/07. everything I've ever known about tech leads me to believe that a wired connection is always preferable to a wireless one, however he just copied the chart and basic description from the main website and sent it again, but said I would probably want a wired connection for my 04/07 build date e90. As far as support goes, I got an e-mail reply within the same day, so they are definitely there and willing to respond. I think this could be a winner for less than or around $100 all in. Certainly not as cheap as doing the manual coding route, but compared to all the hassle (And the fact that my windows laptop is on its last leg and ALWAYS struggles with driver issues of things plugged into it), I might give this a shot. I already have a K+DCAN cable I bought off ebay a while back and never used (could be crap, idk). I'm waiting on an OTG cable I ordered, and I'm going to give the free app a try to see if I can even connect.

I am impressed by this app and in my case it was worth the investment. I was able to connect the app with an iPhone 4s to my lci via a vgate icar wifi. I connected the phone in airplane mode with wifi turned on. I coded led corner out on welcome, wiper cycle complete, window cycle complete on door open, comfort mirrors on lock/unlcok with 0.0 delay, comfort windows up/down with fob, digi speedometer, tried double flash hazards and it didn't take. I'll retry that tomorrow. It's a cool toy and very easy to use.
update: double flash hazards now work along with high beams + fog lights on

Car: 2007 E92 335i, 10/06 build.
Device: Samsung Galaxy S4 + OTG USB + K+DCAN Cable. Airplane Mode: On - App very easy to use. Easy to connect, backup modules, and writing data was very quick. Note: Always had car running while performing coding. - Layout could use a bit of tweaking, but since first screenshots, it's clear this product is continuously being updated. - Coding: Connection was solid, no issues with coding. Added full brightness to angel eyes, auto windows up/down with door open, and welcome fog lights. - Diagnosis: Found and cleared codes with ease. - Parameters: Felt a bit clunky to navigate through the different options, and gauge layout did not work for me. Have not tested the logging features yet. - Tested same functionality on a 2008 build, used ELM327 OBD2 Bluetooth adapter. Able to do coding, but some features were limited to the BMWhat specific adapter. - Would love to see better logging layouts, improved GUI (if the interface looked like the JB4 app, it would be gold.), and features closer to the BavTech cable (reset adaptations, etc). Maybe even ECU flashing like the BBflash app? A bit of a stretch but who knows. Last edited by zero2sixtyZ; 08-18-2014 at 11:44 AM.. |

Has anyone with an E93 been able to code for the top to raise/lower with the key fob?
I've been able to do mirrors, corner delete, speedometer, seat belt chime, etc. But no luck on the top with the FOB. Right now, the windows just raise and lower. Is there a group of settings that need to be set right to make it happen? Thanks! |

Anyone have success coding out the orange LED with this? I was able to disable the standard corner, but not the orange LED. Early 07 build here.

Coded my car no issues with my Android phone and the BT adapter from them.
I coded an e82 last weekend for someone. It just works. For basic coding this is the (well you know) stuff. Cheaper than going back to have my car re-coded for some things I missed.
