You have to remember, Eugen is sleeping in Europe right now.
I'm sure he'll post the reasons tomorrow.

For all we know, Shiv asked to date Eugen's sister and he said no.
That ticked off Shiv who yelled at Eugen.
Because of that Eugen is selling Shiv's product. Who knows?

Give it some time.

And if he goes JB2, that's fine too.
But he'll have to be content with v1.47 power, unless he wants to pay extra for race gas all the time so he can run JB2R map.
If he goes AA Xede, again, as it stand he'll have to be happy with v1.47 power.
If he goes SSTT, he'll have to be content with a power drop.
If he goes Helix, well, as it sounds, he may be waiting some time to get it and go with a pretty untested at this point (reliability wise) product on his 335i.

Either way, I would suspect answers by tomorrow.
So I'd lay low with the speculation and bashing until that point.
u are funny

Ps. There were no 20psi boost spikes involved. It had to so with boost targeting at partial throttle (sub 14psi). Im still a bit confused over it but perhaps others can offer their input.

I find it funny as hell that eugen is getting rid of his procede. And the stuff about shiv going on vacation, its obvious it not just about tuning.

Ya I saw that...I stand corrected. I'm glad shiv is chiming in. This thread is moving so fast by the time I got finished typing...there was about 20 more posts.

Driver72 is spot on....some people need to relax. The sky isn't falling just because Eugen sold his procede. No need to toss out a bunch of accusations.

I got off the phone with Dustin like 2 hours ago and they were testing... ask not what your tuner can do for you, but what you can do for your tuner!

Tyler, read your comment over and see its relevance to the thread. Surely you can't see any kicking the other tuner while he's down? You're happy with your JB, good. JB is great for its money. It seems to be performing well from what I see. But I wouldn't go in a thread where someone is having a JB problem and say "LMAO I LOVE MY PROCEDE."

What's the point?

This car came out what... a year and a half ago or something? In that time Procede managed to raise our output by 80whp and 120wtq, if everyone would just choose to be satisfied by that he could surely stop going for more gains and just fine tune it. Instead he is doing both, always tough. 2.02 seems to solve the issues of 2.00 and 2.01 which weren't issues with hurting the car but instead issues of working around the car's warning systems. We the people sit here and make all this noise about jsb2r and helix, he is just answering our calls...

Ah finally..someone said it instead of me. Past experience and reviews with Shiv is what has me on the fence with a Procede. Both good and bad...and sometimes bad things can get exaggerated because of asshole owners who blame the tuner on the first chance they get (but he forgot to tell the tuner he put on a bigger turbo after he had the car tuned, so when it blew up it was the tuners fault ). I know so because I've dealt with Mitsus and Subarus, and Ive seen him make his way up through the communities. He offers a good product to us, but I will give it sometime before I make a decision and see how these do down the road...

Besides a great product. Shiv Has called people up personally that are having problems. He answers problems and questions personally. He even installs the product when he is out and about the country. He has a dedicated forum for the procede. I think he goes above and beyond.

Enjoy growing old waiting for Dinan to release something decent for the 335i. It may be a cold day in hell before Dinan produces a 335i tune comparable to the PROcede.

btw -- I've done business with Shiv and Vishnu Performance (and was actually one of Shiv's XEDE beta testers back in 12/06); not only is the PROcede a great product, but they are great ppl to do business with as well.

Go ahead and wait for the other tuners then....
Dude, who carers?

All I care is that his product works !! Thats all!! I don't care about his marketing, past, personality, level of maturity or anything like that.

There is too much BS on this forum. BS that was created by people like Terry that have nothing else better to do.
If you don't like his company, marketing etc...fine!!... don't buy his product!!

one more thing...about shiv turning his back on you because he doesn't like you....as far as I know he did refuse to sell a Procede to Terry and the other guy, because they were talking shit about him. Why would you sell a product to somebody that talks crap about you all the time and it's trying to bring you down with useless comments? I wouldn't!!

just my 0.02 cents.

Lemme see, which is worse?

1. A businessman who pays to be a sponsor and who does what any other sponsoring businessman does, to wit; market his product?

2. Or someone who brags about how well known he is elsewhere and then insinuates that Shiv's products cause engines to blow up?

I vote for #2 (no pun intended ).

That said I'm not one of Shiv's fanboys. I have seen him and a lot of other tuners involved in a lot of drama on EvoM. Even though it seems he very rarely starts it, it inevitably ends up in his threads. It seems that it's usually someone with ulterior motives comes in and starts stirring shit up. (much like I've already seen here cough...terry..cough...exede guys) So, maybe it's things like that bring out the stuff you don't like in his posts. IDK.

I can't speak for the STI community but, having owned an Evo since they started importing them into this country (03) and being on Evo forums for a great deal of time I think I can speak in regards to the Evo side of things.

I do have first hand experience with Shiv. I had Shiv tune my Evo about 30,000 miles ago and it is still running very strong with no issues at all. There are other's out there that could have probably done just as good a job tuning it but, in the end I went with Vishnu because they are quite knowledgeable, do a good job of keeping the customer in the loop regarding their future products, have reasonable pricing, good reliability and, have provided good customer service for me.

I only remember reading about one of Shiv's customers cars blowing up and there was nothing attributable to the tune that caused it. Of course that guy liked to b*tch and whine that it was Shiv's fault and tell people not to go there but, when it comes down to it one guy out of how many of hundreds of people is not enough to insinuate that his tunes are unsafe. Things are going to break even when they are stock. I'm willing to bet Mitsubishi has had more stock motors blow up (specifically spun bearings) then Shiv has had tuned ones grenade.

It all goes back to the phrase "you've got to pay to play". No one is twisting your arm to buy a procede. If you don't like the way he presents himself and his company don't buy it. If you feel it is too risky by all means don't buy it but, insinuate that is unsafe with out some type of proof besides "my friend said" stories.

I don't get what you mean by "good companies are made by good sales people not good products". I personally would rather have good product that sells itself but, maybe that's just me. If your product sucks it won't take long for word to get out and then I don't care who you've got selling it your screwed.

what a crazy thread...i mean a couple months ago you couldn't mention "JB2" without getting ripped apart, while "procede" was always praised and very seldom (if ever) questioned. Not saying either is a bad thing, its just amazing how it works...
