Hoover as a conservative. To what extent are these characterizations valid?" I'm trying to figure out an extent but can't really come up with anything worthy of writing a paper on. i mean i guess the characterizations are true to the extent to where the opponent disproves their viewpoints...but... i'm still confused

Well the characterizations of these two are valid only to a certain extent because both took actions that showed they were both liberal and conservative.

Neither President Hoover nor President Roosevelt can be strictly labeled as a conservative or a liberal because they were a little bit of both.

Just to give you a starting point...Hoover was the one that was slightly more conservative though...he didn't like the government controlling people ect..
