You will have to write the vin to it via WinKFP and then wire the VO to the NFRM. If your car is a pre-03/07, you will first have to change the production date to 03/07, then write the VO to the NFRM. |

Hi all I have a few questions hope some one can help. I recently changed the radio on my E84. I beleive thr radio is from a E90. I also have an android screen. Afyer the new radio I start getting a hood open indication just on the android screen. No showing the error on the car. Can this be due to thw radio used to come from a car that has a hood sensor and mine do not have that. Is it possible to deactivate hood sensor with prootool?
The second question is related to backup camera and parking distance control. I got the audio warnings ok but the visual warnings are always red is it related to coding the radio? Sorry for the noob questions quite new in all this codding the car so it works as it should buissness. |

Just ordered the bimmergeeks cable since I can’t use my amazon one anymore for some reason.
Decided to go with the cable instead of the Bluetooth adapter Incase I need the cable for other uses. Or would the Bluetooth adapter work for any other app? Such as mhd. |

Bluetooth for MHD hasn't been released yet but I'm almost positive you'll need to use their proprietary BT adapter when it is. As convenient as BT is, as long as everyone is requiring their own specific adapter to run their app, I'm just going to stick with BG cable, it seems to work with everything.

Got it, thanks for that.
Hopefully it gets here soon! How long did it take for your cable to arrive? Can I code out the battery fuse cable with this app? Last edited by Serf27; 02-19-2019 at 03:27 PM.. |

I've read pretty much this whole thread and I haven't seen what I'm looking for. I bought the Carista module and app to change some settings and most importantly, change a setting for my AHL. I have a 2007 e91 pre lci. The customization I was hoping for wasn't available using that app. I'm under the impression this Bimmergeek app along with their cable will open things up for me? Also, question, I want to get rid of that insidious AHL failure warning light. Will this app code that out?

How long after ordering the cable does it typically take to ship? I've had an email from PayPal saying it has shipped but only the shipping label has been made. Its been a week. Thanks!

OK. In any case, can Pro Tools do these?

I'm pretty sure they're in there, but I haven't really gone through the parameters thoroughly. Look for C0F Diff lock and C0F FLR.

To compare the workflow between it and NcsDummy? Or how we can use NcsDummy to help with expert mode? That would be very much appreciated. |

Any possibility to include the "“Fast Learn Adapts" as a procedure in the app?
e90yyc mentioned this in a post on this thread https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...php?p=24461526 |

Well.. not sure what made it work. I finally was able to enable 5 blinks on my main key
Things that happened that one or a combination of things made it work: - new battery - the fact the original battery was on its way out, so the app/OBDII adapter wasn't able to code it again, and now there is a new battery in?? - replacing the battery meant disconnecting it for a longer time, might helped reset something?? - the app also updated twice in the past two days - Gods of BMW had a vacation and were not looking?? |
