Y'all are getting too hung up on the idea that the OP was profiling just because he gave a description of the car. It's pretty obvious that the collective behavior of the other driver was what gave OP the heeby jeebies, not just the car.

Hell, I posted a link on the second page to documented cases of similar things happening. It's not like the scenario is completely implausible, give him a break.

Yes, I would be cautious if I saw a vehicle make maneuvers like that. No, I would not blow past a stop sign because of paranoia. No, I would not post a stupid thread like this on the internet simply because a vehicle followed me in a straight line out of the neighborhood. Yes, I would have shared my story online IF driver kept following me turn after turn after leaving neighborhood, and the only way to evade was to speed off.

And for me, my first plan of action in case i run into something bad is to escape. EDIT: I would like to apologize for my asshole-ish response and actually respond. I originally posted to see if what i did was the right thing or not. As i explained in a previous post, the title was meant to be an attention grabber in good taste or not. As i bolded above, it really was all about if i should've given the dude the benefit of the doubt under all the circumstances of that particular moment. Now, if the dude really did follow me turn after turn and i got away, i may have still shared the story, but there really would no be debate. Everyone would be in agreement that i should've hauled ass, people would share their own experiences, and that's that. Yes, a lot of people were hung up over the profiling and such, but the crux of the debate was whether i should've did what i did and leave without finding out the truth.
