Update...

The CA said that they have no cars that are in 112 right now that can be modified into my car. So my (as-of-now) date in early June seems to be the best they've got.

But he also said that my car has been designated for Priority 9 (SC delivery) already, and that evidently they have a number of Priority 9 cars that are held up right now and aren't moving thru the system. So the sales manager is going to call down there and see what they can do about moving things along, and figuring out what the holdup is. I had preferred dates for PCD when I made the order that would've been two months out, which seemed fine, but the CA didn't seem to remember that, so he took them down again. Then they'll get in touch with me on Monday.

So we'll see. I'm a little confused why South Carolina would be at all the factor in the production date - it seems like they work with whatever production date you've got to schedule you, but that they don't have the ability to speed up production. Or is it possible that there is such a flood of requests that the folks in SC can put on the brakes and push cars back?

EDIT: My bad. I didn't realize that there was a separate priority code for SC delivery. Had never seen that before. So it almost sounds like my dealer has no production slots at this point, and the SC delivery also slows things down? What sucks is I had built in the option of SC delivery for a couple weeks in June/July that seemed feasible (and the CA never said otherwise), but if the car takes a while to get here, it won't work, so I will have to shift all that stuff around too. My head hurts now.

OC doesn't give me a ton of faith - it still shows me with a 2001 330i, 10 days after the order was placed.

I keep telling myself that I'll love the car - whenever it arrives, whether it is June, July or December. And that's what is most important.

Definitely June for me. Courage won't even reach Charleston until June 1st. I think what annoys me more than the fact that it didn't make Tasco is the fact that this is the only time I can see in the past or future that there are about 2 weeks between boats! That's absolutely ridiculous. Get another damn boat over here for those of us who paid money for a car and freakin want it.

damn! my car was finished today (5/13) and now should be on its way to bremerhaven. but will likely miss the boheme boat that leaves on 5/16, and the next one (rigoletto) departs three weeks later on 6/3. damn! 3 extra weeks!

Wow, that's shitty. And I was pissed for missing the first boat and having to wait 2 weeks for a boat. You almost certainly won't make it on the 16th unfortunately. You car will probably reach port on the 16th. Mine didn't even make the boat the following Monday after arriving on Friday, so it looks like you'll have a wait.

wow...so i went to my dealership today to check out what was available and so forth. Well they had a E90 M3 with premium, sport, and tech package. AW with black leather and i jumped on it! Got it for $60K flat plus taxes and im picking it up tomorrow. I saw it there and just had to do it. Can't wait

well someone else gets my AW/Coral 335 in June! Both the 335 and M3 are absolute beasts but my friend ended up ordering the same exact 335 as me so when i saw the M3 i knew i had to step up my game. lol but no really not a bad price for a loaded M3 and they're beautiful

Yeah, but I had already accepted that it would be on the Courage which wouldn't even leave until this Friday and wouldn't hit port until the 1st.

On the 25th. And it left Bremerhaven on the 9th, which means it was right next to Tasco the whole time. It's on the same schedule.

Edit: Wait, a week behind Tasco, what was I thinking. It left 7 days after Tasco though and it hits port only 5 days later, so it's going to be a shorter voyage.
