I installed ISTA-P 3.67.0 last night, but am unable to get it to run.

I get the following error every time I try to start it; Please install and register the INPI Admin Client.Starting ISTA/P is not possible.

Is there something else that I missed? There were only 4 items in the folder.

I am looking to download Ista D(well i already started ista d 4.17 I think) and was wondering which one would be best for my 09 e92 or does it not matter too much? Thanks

Depends on what you want to do.
If you want to alter the settings of your egr you need to use ISTA-D 4.01.21 or ISTA-D 4.04.12

If its just normal stuff use any version you prefer.
As your an E model stick with ISTA-D 4.17.41, you will NOT need to install ISTA-P

When looking through the folders i noticed there was a separate file in the tools folder for the N47 engine, is this still needed for this engine?

Its for inpa, some of them dont have the files added.

Hey J0K3R5, I downloaded ISTA D 4.17 and unzipped everything, but there is no install file? There are like 3 or 4 executable files but none were install files and they didn't do anything when trying to run them. What's my issue?

ISTA-D 4.17.41.7z - extract folder to c drive
BLP 4.17.40.7z - extract folder to c drive / Rheingold

SQLiteDBs
OTHER 4.17.40.7z - extract folder to c drive / Rheingold / SQLiteDBs
EN 4.17.40.7z - extract folder to c drive / Rheingold / SQLiteDBs
*DE 4.17.40.7z - extract folder to c drive / Rheingold / SQLiteDBs ( only if you need german language )

ISTA-D Reg Fix x64.reg - install which one you need by double click
ISTA-D Reg Fix x86.reg - install which one you need by double click

Goto drive / Rheingold / TesterGUI / bin / Release /
Right click "ISTAGUI.exe" and Create shortcut & drag it onto desktop

So running anything newer than 4.17.41 on E series isn't worth while?

You can use the newer versions, just not ISTA-P.
As thats for newer models.

I thought ISTA P is needed in certain areas of the E90. For example when coding a different battery size/capacity.
ISTA D supposedly was unable to change capacities.
Also if updating the CCC or CIC via ICOM.

If anyone has used DVD 1 in the "CCC 2019 Prof+cams LAST UPDATE" folder, can you confirm that it includes UK Speed Cameras?

I burnt the ISO and loaded it in the car, have fiddled around with the Information section for ages trying to find the speed cams, but without luck. I was able to display petrol stations etc, so know I'm looking in the right place - the fact the iso filename says "+cams" makes me think it must be there.

Perhaps I need to force a reset of the iDrive so it reads the new disk fully or something?

Failing that, does anyone have a link to download an updated Nav DVD incl UK speed cams? Anything after '08 will do.

Hello, I have ISTA 4.01, is their a major advantage to install a newer version. I have a E series but I will also buy a F series in the future?

Should I uninstall the old version by basically deleting the old Rheingold folder?

What should I download, ISTA or also Rheingold?
