Not much. I've been getting down on the M3.

I still have your brake fluid, btw.

lol wow that looks like a headache but i guess you know what you're doing. Yeah i havent forgotten about the brake fluid. Maybe I'll pick it up from you sat morning if you are available. By the way, all I would need to do to put in new rear spring pads is to disconnect the rear shock from the arm and slide out the old pads or would I need to remove the spring as well? Do you know?

On the E30? You need to pull the spring out. The pads are kinda anchored inside of it.

Removing the front wasn't that bad except for taking the radiator off, haha. The hoses were stuck tight!

Fun part is coming up this weekend when I pull the motor out.

Go Giants!

On another topic.

I recently brought my car to Nick Lal (per the recommendations of some of the folks here) and I gotta admit, he's a really good SA. Not like most of the other robots I've worked with.

I brought it in for removing the annoying brake assist (kick you in the butt) feature, side view mirror misbehavior and alarm activation.

He got that all done for me, plus got my brakes flushed among other things. Plus he didn't give me any stick about my mods (FMIC) (which I really didn't care b/c I could pay for whatever).

On my prior visit, I had attempted to get the side view mirror issue addressed with a different SA at Fremont, but it still had the issue.

So here's a shout out for Nick and Kevin Wong (the tech who worked on my car) at Fremont BMW. A rare, enjoyable visit to the dealer for service.
