just make sure your CA gives you the better rate. Alot of these dealerships are not adjusting the rate if it goes down and leaving it at the rate you ordered it at. A 20$ drop in payment for example gives the dealer $720 more profit on a 36 month lease. And bmw salesmen make 17% commission on the amount the car is sold over invoice. Just make sure. Im guessing it will go down to .00200

Maybe you can help me out here...
My car was $46,475
Sale price $44,290
MF .00275
$2,675.00 total out of pocket... that includes taxes and fees
$745.00 per month

where should i be at now with .00235? how about if it goes to .00200??

i already put down $500 deposit so i owe another $2,175.00 when the car gets here... if the monthly price drops to around $700ish per month i want to then up it to about $750 and reduce my money down... i decided i want to buy a ring for my GF and i can use every penny i can find now... so after the drop in monthly payment, how much would i have to be putting down(from the original $2,675) to be at $750 per month? thanks

what kinda ring, engagement?

I almost need that extra 15k, then broke up with my ex. There would've been no way to get the BMW, though it played no role in the decision.

Are you going to let them wash it? If dealer washing doesn't do irreparable damage, I'll probably just let them...what do you guys think?

i know some people say its terrible to let them wash it cause they ruin the car... come on... yes they may have done a crappy job once in a thousand times but they deliver 100's of cars... if they were messing up every car they would be in trouble...

im sure its fine...

when i pick up my car i want it to be sparkling clean...

your total out of pocket is wrong. taxes on that car would be about 2100 bucks plus 1st payment 745 plus bank fee and other dealer fees. So i dont know how you get to 2675. Based on my calculations. and i used tax rate 8.375 i think your 8.125%. Your selling price comes to about 1070 over invoice. at the current rate of .00235 if you threw in the taxes and the bank fee in the lease your payment would be 735 a month with only the 1st month payment up front plus security if you are not a previous bmw lessee and plates of corse

the $2,675.00 is what we agreed to for total out of pocket... im guessing the rest is rolled into the payment

so if the mf is at lets say .00235 when i lease my payment should be around $715 (based on the deal we have already worked out) and then to put it up to $750 per month it would just be $35 (more per month) x 36 months = $1,260 - $2,675 (total out of pocket) = $1,415- $500 deposit = $915 due at signing?? sound right?

its kind of complicated when you dont know what makes up the 2675 up front. Are you paying security?? because then if your payment is 745 and security is 750 then we already know what 1500 of the 2675 of it is. If you add the bank fee of 625 paid up front you are up to 2,120. But forget paying the old rate so everything has changed. If you want the least $ up front throw the tax and the bank fee into the lease and you will still be at 735 a month.

so first pmt 735
security 750
plates? 150?
documentation 125?

Total about 1760
less deposit -500
Total owed 1260 instead of 2175

I will probably be okay with it.

With that said, a Zaino kit will be waiting the following weekend as I prep for winter.

no word from my CA yet. I'm hoping to get the call today, then schedule the pickup tomorrow afternoon. Maybe taking some time off from work.

Cooper has been sold, morning commute took me 1:30 instead of the usual 15 minute drive.

Kew Gardens, but I work in Flushing.

Instead of driving up the Van Wyck, I walk 15 mins to subway, take E train west, then 7 train east, then walk 10 mins to office.

Maybe I should "rent out" my office parking spot for 2 days, heehee.
