No I really don't think I feel a difference. I raced my friend's TL with and without the intake and there was a clear difference, especially in my performance from 3.5Krpm and above.

hunter, i talked with a tech from fujita and showed him my install pictures and he said it MAY be because of not being properly sealed, where the hose and clamps are....im going to give it a shot and try and fix those

Is it just me or did you have problems getting the hose to fit easily on the intake Driv3r? I guess I'll try and help Hunter fix it this weekend. If that isn't the problem then the Fujita is absolute trash. The difference between Hunter's car and the stock car was very significant.

Just to let everyone know...I have no problems with my intake at all, I can tell the difference in power from the intake. I did have my intake put on by them!

I was just asking if he has a reason to even think you wouldn't send it to him in the first place? Like him asking you before and not getting it, so now when you say your doing it, he is still wondering.

you were the one who helped him install it? yea the hose was very small and very difficult to pull over the existing rubber hose..but there is a small hump on the top of the existing hose(the 90degree elbow which connect directly to throttle body)which you should have slid the fujita hose over and then clamp...this would apparently creat a greater seal....its worth a try and i am going over it later today, hoping i can get some good results...hope it goes well for you and hunter too...i want this intake to work but i guess i will have to do something if it continues to create the hesitation as it has been doing....

Sorry to hear that hunter. I hope everything works out ok for her.

you've been posting here however and been busy modding your car.
Thanks for calling me a jerk. You must be pretty young.

I looked at the hose connections and they all looked fine. We went to BHS and the head guy there agreed that the Fujita design was garbage because the E90's engine compartment is very well sealed, and the heat shield looks like it hardly prevents hot air from being sucked in. The car is being dynoed before and after the fujita(no hood up, thank god), so we will truely know whether this upgrade is worth while. Hunter's probably gonna post the results today at around 7ish.
