As long as you don't hoon like a madman in the rain it should be ok A lot of EVOs and WRXs run stretched semi slicks without problems

Any recommendations on shops that know how to look after your rims when they are putting the tyre on? |

Really loving this car, the attention to detail and sheer list of things touched/replaced is incredible. With cars of this caliber it's likely I'll never make a build thread! Which is a good thing! Amazing work mate.
I'd like to hear it too. That said I've always struggled to get exhaust from outside the car videos. I can't ask my wife to do it, dump her on the side of the road with a camera and floor it past her, and likewise just can't seem to ask a mate to do it either! |

Ok, will have to try organise something then! I have always wanted to put a short film together, like ascending Donna buang, filmed from various spots to put the whole run together. Some in car footage and external angles. Could be pretty fun, just need a few DSLR's or Go-Pros and willing participants |

Pic after 800km's with my radium engineering dual catch can setup!
Pic is of the OCC on the PCV side, definitely stopping lots of oil and gunk clogging up my intake valves! Last edited by _ink; 05-14-2016 at 03:34 AM.. |

With this setup you bypass the stock cyclonic separator? I assume so if your bypassing the Valve cover part of the pcv.
If that's the case then a fair amount of this oil in the oil catch can would be caught by the stock system. I would think/hope the occ would be better then the stock cyclonic separator but at the same time far less then that amount of oil would actually be making its way to the valves. That's my understanding of the way the external pcv works. happy to be proven wrong though. |

Bypassing, yes, but more accurately - completely externalising the PCV system. For stock turbos, on more or less stock boost, the internal cyclonic separator will be sufficient. Once you've upgraded your snails though, this obviously changes many things. The stock PCV system is plastic (as most know, i have a #waronplastic), has been known to fail, and has also been a primary factor to 'smoking turbos' in many cases. |
