UPDATE:
So in anticipation of the car being done for good, as it seems like forever and a year that I see my own car, I have went ahead and bought a stud conversion kit. Initially I bought the Lugs off NJ1161. They were good quality but I didn't realise they were aluminium. So, I sold them off to another forum member and bought myself 82mm studs Front, 75mm studs rear and Steel galvanised open end black lugs from here.. http://elite-d.co.uk/ Steve from Elite is by far THE MOST helpful person I know in the game. He replies to emails at sily o clock and sent me pics of almost every option I asked him about... such a helpful guy. Highly recommended! I didn't want the studs to protrude much at all, if indeed any, so I didn't go for the longest length available. 82mm can cater for up 20mm spacers and the 75mm studs caters for upto 12mm spacers, which is ideal for me. Should be with me for Tuesday and I'll do the install when I have the car. I figured it would be nice to have a little contrast on the wheels now that they're tango'd |

you can't see sod all it's all hidden behind the speaker grills and as for the amp, it sits next to the ULF module, at the moment I'm not really into a "build as such"but knowing me if someone pops a build on the screen and says here's what you can do knowing me I'll be looking at doing something Sam

Another update.
I've had my eye on a certain set of wheels for about a year now as fell in love with the look, so a set of these came up 25mins down the road. I decided to go down and have a look and can proudly say I now own a set OEM Style 95 wheels. They're for the 7 series but I have seen plenty of the US boys run these after an arch roll which I already have. Specs are: F: 9J x 19 et24 R: 10J x 19 et24 Will be using these as Winter Wheels and they're already in great nick. Am selling the tyres it comes with in a separate thread. Quick sale as need the space. Front Tyres: 245/45/19 Rear Tyres: 275/40/19 Cannot wait to get them on in a few months |

they always look so good on e9xs, especially silver ones... i was gonna get some for my dad's e60 when he needed 2 front new tyres, but then he went and bought the tyres without telling me :\ i'll definitely get a set for him soon... mind if i ask how much they set you back?? i wanna get some in terrible condition and refurb them to a custom colour....

@Achu
Haha, I’ve been talking to the boys about rolling hard all year round, so what better way than to style it out, than with Style 95s. Whilst, I love the OEM 230 twists, I fancied a change. I have looked discreetly for a year but nothing came up in my price range and that too within reasonable driving distance. This came up not very far at all so I went to take a look and picked them up last night. Price wise, let’s just say I didn’t need to haggle A few do come up for sale but sometimes they’re either 2 wheels or a single and you just don’t know it’s history. Luckily I picked mine up from a guy who’s car came from family from new so they’re true to date and he upgraded his rims to 20” so I knew he looked after his car once I saw it. Anyways, for the moment I can’t spend anymore so I’m just storing them for the winter but when time arises, I’ll slap on some tyres and put them on the car. No plans to change it’s colour in the immediate future as the orange Rials already attract attention. I don’t want to do the same during winter months, but I have a feeling even with it being silver, it will still attract unwanted attention. I will however do something with them in due course Oh well…I’m looking forward to the winter now dare I say. Haha. @Mob17 Cheers brother - I can't actually wait to put these on. I'm so excited!! |

Audio
Picking up the car tomorrow for the first time after 5th May when I went to Ace and left it with my Audio guy. Sadly however, the sub boot install will not be ready to showcase this Sunday at DC for those who were planning to go... I'll be dropping it after week and then having the final touches done, ready for professional photos and what have you. I asked the guy to redo all the wiring, take out JBL MS8 and install the Audison Bit One which is also tuned. The list now comprises: - Morel Hybrid Ovations II - Jehnert XE200 8" - Audison Bit One Processor - Dension Gateway 500 - JL 12w7 AE-3 - Hertz HDP4 - JL 1000/1 - Dynamat till I D.I.E lol! It will be re-trimmed and finished with a nice touch and the sub will be facing inside the ski pass, so there's going to be something unique on display. Wheel I am so excited to throw on some rubber on my Style 95s that I just can't wait to put them on!!!!! May switch between my Split Rims and Style 95s to change it up a little! Maintenance Going to have my car booked in locally with a very well known specialist (ex BMW Technician for 20 years) to have a full health check and if needs be, do an interim oil change, fluids change and filters change etc. Stance Gonna camber some more and spacer the puppies out for a little more poke. Maybe downsize a tyre size for this, but will see how I feel. Finally... I just need some time now with my car. It's been gone far too long!! |
