Did anyone catch a screen shot of the front of her going through this particular lock? I think mdm_boulder is correct; there is Miraflores and San Miguel Locks and they flip between them with the camera.

spn,
its all on the previous page. the ship you captured is not Bellona... Bellonas next stop is Port Hueneme. I's not scheduled to make a stop in San Diego. |

I agree. That's the Bellona. And you can see the Ever Dainty in the background (the ship that has shadowed her through the canal).

Look at the windows along the side, the striped smokestack, the windows in the rear, and those silver things on the deck at the rear. It looks like her to me. I think the camera moved from the first set of Miraflores locks to the second set. You guys got the screen shots of the first locks and I got the screen shots of the second locks.

By the way , do know if there is way to track the delivery progress after Bellona arrives to Port Hueneme? VPC, Truck, etc... |

You can see in that AIS map that there are two sets of locks. I think you guys captured her on the first set and I captured her on the second set.
Vic and PCLazarus-Did you get to see her live on the second locks? |

Once the ship docked, Mercedes Customer Support gave me the updates on where my car was in the VPC process. They also gave me the trucking company name, and then I contacted them. They kept me up to date of where she was all the way to the dealer in Utah (a week later). Hopefully, BMW will do the same for you guys. It will be helpful if you get a trucking company who cooperates. |

I can start tracking this thing through VPC and trucking, etc once it gets there (my dealer gave me access to DCSNet) so i'll post updates through the VPC atleast and if anyone's in nor cal we're probably gonna be on the same truck,

It's been fun tracking this one.
This is when it gets difficult (again), though, as this ship will drop into a hole for about ONE WEEK. Unless is shows up on sailwx.com, which I doubt. My AIS subscription runs out in a few days, so I won't be reporting on its entry into CA. Luckily, some of you guys on this thread finally got your subscriptions and you can follow it through. The ship I originally set out to track, the Sagittarius Leader, is due into CA in a few days and then I will be done tracking. Good Luck with your cars and have lots of fun! It's been one year since I brought my car home and I am still CRAZY about it every day. Vik, maybe I will see you on State Street. If you see a perfectly clean, perfectly detailed, black SL500 on State Street, that may be me in my car! Here's the updated AIS map of Bellona exiting the PanCanal area. Sue |
