See my post on these brakes. Unless you are tracking the car these brakes are not required. Good only for looks on a road car.
If you want to improve braking install 335i brakes. For a few 100 dollars you will have a noticeable improvement. If you need for track evens get the 370mm or 380mm rotors as these will help to dissipate heat. You will need M3 master cylinder as well in this case. |

A few problems with these china kits.
Bleed nipples all leaked. I think mismatch with tapered angle of machining and nipple itself. No leaks from pistons. One of the rear calipers has misaligned pads. off by 3mm. The rear pads have tapered friction material which causes rocks to get stuck in them and scores the rotors. Rear braided brake lines wrong size. Lots of dust like the original brakes. Aren't the brakes on your car 4 pot fixed calipers? |

Not 100% sure on nipples leaking issue but seen other people with these brakes have same issue. Very small leak more of a weep. The nipples were zinc coated and not stainless. I just polished them and put back. Leaks stopped.
The pads up front are ok. The rears i just left. Only small scratches, no big deal. Be careful when buying from aliexpress as any issues with fitment and quality are always your fault not theirs. Expect no warranty. The person you will deal with is most likely a sales clerk who speaks English. She has no idea about brakes. I required custom brackets as i kept original rotors so it made things more difficult. Hope this helps. |

I think on your car you don't need to replace master cylinder and just need to code for larger brake kit.
Your brake on the 435i look fine. I wouldn't bother upgrading. The older e92 brakes don't look the best hence why some people upgrade. Don't expect braking performance unless you track car and go 370mm rotors or larger for heat reasons |

I think the only thing hold me back right now is that I don't know which ceramic pads I should get to minimize brake dust, maybe seller offer that option too? |

Your best to get complete kit, Rotors and calipers.
IF you do purchase make sure brake lines are correct for rear. See Zero to 60 vids on Youtude. Also get then to supply touch up paint in small bottle. I got custom pads so i can't order different type locally. The standard pads you will get are Ferodo ones for the Brembo GT4/6. You should be able to get different type pads to suit as china go by Brembo standards. Remember these are cheap brakes. You should be paying around $2k USD delivered. Don't believe the BS that this and that is extra $$. What I can say is they look great on my car compared to the originals. |

I installed this kit las week. GT6 Front and GT4 rear 380mm rotors on APEX arc 8 18" wheels. Also did M3 master cylinder. No fitment issues at all, I think they worked out all the problems. Have not driven it yet since I did coilovers/ M3 steering rack at the same time, needs alignment. Will post with performance results.

i wonder how much these calipers flex. You can get a lot of wilwoods for around the same price and make a diy kit for about the same price. Wondering if they are forged too

wwallace Would love to see more detailed pics, especially the front if you're on 18" w/ 380mm rotors, and hear your review. I'm looking at the same kit and have 18" APEX EC-7's on my E92.

One year later. Haven't died yet. I'm curious as to how I'll get replacement pads though |

I understand the idea of the looks, and likely on the street these brakes won't fail catastrophically. Likely as usual, wouldn't seal well and dribble, or would not offer better performance than stock calipers.
I watch the Apex taxi Nurburgring youtube channel (Mischa Choudrin) where they run various cars as taxis and rentals on the ring and drive the hell out of them. I find it interesting as they detail the setup of the cars. The bulk of them run on stock brakes with upgraded pads. Of course most of them are M cars but they run a wide variety of cars from golfs to Supras without crazy brake kits. |
