Hey everyone! I'm new to Arizona! I'm attempting to set up a one week long part install and walnut blast event type thing sometime in October.
The purpose of this post is to gauge whether or not there will be enough people to start giving deals on services. If there are, I'll start an event thread and since I can't put up prices for said services, we can communicate through our inbox to commit such sins. I can make house calls or work on them outside of my apartment in Scottsdale. Appointments will be made to keep everything and everyone happy, as I am a very punctual and time oriented person (and everyone has their other non-car life or spouse to get back to). A little background of me: I'm back and forth between OKC and Scottsdale pretty often, I'll live here and go back to OKC for a little while, since I have a little bit of family in both. I was raised in Oklahoma, though, but I just desire something different. I am a college student and I plan on attending school here next semester. I'm undecided on what to pursue so I'll be interested in hearing your opinions on the matter when I'm tending to your car needs. Also, I'll need a part time job when I move down there. I have no idea where I'll be working but I'll be needing it to fund tuition and living, of course! (Ramen doesn't ALWAYS taste good, lol) I have owned a business already and closed it down, it was doing well but it was inside a mall (don't worry, I didn't beg people to stop and take a look at what I was selling) and another, larger business who could afford cheaper products opened up and I closed out before I came out negative. It's hard to put a finger on exactly what I want to do in life but I have many aspirations, curiosities and willingness to go above and beyond to keep myself interested and happy. I'm open to internships if you happen to know anyone. Just PM me with some details and I'd be glad to engage in that sort of conversation with you. My interests are technology in general, like computers or cameras. I am taking classes to learn how to use different programs that involve software and graphic design. I'm currently looking to increase my knowledge of such things so if anyone has an interest in any of these things, do let me know so we can discuss them! I'd enjoy making new friends. I don't necessarily like naming my interests because I don't want to portray my interest in things as limited. I love doing and reading about many things and believe that things in this world are more integrated, contrary to what some people might come to think. So it's nice to meet you! Thanks for reading if you've come this far. I know it's a dread, but that's what forums are all about. Reading, right? ha. It's an introduction, it has to be long. Or maybe there's another more engaging, less wordy way of introducing oneself! If nothing else, at least respond with a better way one could introduce himself. As for the week long October AZ event, respond on here so we can determine if there are enough people interested. A simple "I'm in" and your specific service requested will work. Spread the word to your friends and acquaintances to get this thing on its feel. PM if you feel ever so inclined to do so, ask for details on prices or what not. Hey everyone, just sold my 328i and have a few items that I no longer use but don't want to sell online / ship.
I have a Powermax PMBC75 12vdc power supply that I used when programming, works great and no worries about bricking anything because battery power dipped. Also have the Esco 10499 Jackstands with with pivoting block that are great to secure the vehicle. PM me if you're interested or if you know of somebody that might use them. |

Hey everyone. Moving to AZ in November. Perfect timing coming from Chicago. I will check AZ Bimmer in Mesa but are there other options towards west of Phoenix ? I need to mount new toe arms and get an alignment. I will then sell my car so pm me if you are interested in a 2009 BMW 335 e90 with RB turbos, full bolt ons, M3 suspension bits, BMW perf suspension and with GIACs Stage II tune. Appr. 75K miles so I will start at $15K OBO. I will post adv as soon as I detail the body. I need to sell due to my new employer using a fleet variable/fixed fleet system for employee cars. See you soon.
Click "2009 e90 335i" below left for picks and description.

Hey fellow AZ members, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good shop/person who has experience rolling the fenders on a E82 or E9X (from what I know, there is some sort of adhesive that needs to be cleaned out before doing the roll and my biggest concern is the tab where the rear fender meets the bumper), I have been searching desperately for a solution for my serious rubbing issue. Thanks.

My 330i sport was unbelievable and the difference that my stock/factory 2011 E91 (non sport) alignment and the "correct" alignment was unbelievable Highly recommended |

335IS is a cool car man! Best of everything. Did they sort out all the dct software stuff for the hybrid turbo folks? seems like that would be crazy fast.

Hey Murph,
Yeah, not having much luck yet. I'll keep looking and eventually... Love the 335is. Having some problems with the DCT slipping in high gears with a lot of pull. No slipping in low gears. Also some injector issues I think. Either the recall or I need blasting. Not sure which, but sometimes when pulling hard I get what seems like misfires. Maybe plugs. I'm at about 50k miles. Thanks for checking in... |

You can try Keith Brooks European Services on 1st. They have done a few things for me and have done great work! Cody and Chris are really good to work with and tell you what needs to be done and what you can hold off on for now.

If you got injectors or spark plugs or COP, it will throw CEL or limp mode. You should pull code from OBD port. If you don't have INPA, get it for sure. I'd also check the intercooler inlet/outlet coupler and see the clamp is on right. But first pull the error code from OBD. Amazon or ebay sells cheap blue tooth box and free app called Torque. |
