JB Weld. Stuff like krazy glue own't work. It's still a royal PITA, but it was the only way you could screw the heatsink back on.

One because it's heat resistant, and also because the jb weld really sticks. I and accelerometer tried krazy glue and it didn't work. The LED portion kept coming apart when you try to screw the heatsink back on. JB weld kept the hold. Just let it set for a moment though.

Damn, wish I had seen this article earlier. Around the same time I ordered 6w bulbs from amazon. I couldn't afford to spend over$100 for them. The seller is great but the bulbs are dim... :'(

All the lights claiming LCI compatibility also claim they're for xenons only. Is there a compatibility reason for that, or is it because the light pipe reflects off the non-xenon reflectors really badly?
If it's the latter, can the headlights be opened up to, say, silver the back of the pipes and prevent reflection? It seems to me yes, since I see CFL or LED ring mods, but then the tail lights are sealed up tighter than a duck's butt...

A quick comparison of the EBay LED 20W vs. Halogen ABT "White" Bulbs
Unfortunately my iphone has no shutter control so the images may be a bit confusing. The phone is adjusting off of the light coming from the right headlight. As you can see the halogen solution comes really close to the stock OEM bulbs in terms of light output. The Ebay LEDs are not even close...
