Just placed the order for my switch...and I don't even have my car yet! I highly doubt the part number has changed between 06 and 07. If it has, I'll just sell it on here -- shouldn't be a problem.
Am I obsessed? Just a little. |

Found another great application for the rear fogs
In unilluminated areas and at night, switching the rear fogs on provides additional/auxiliary lighting to the factory backup lights. This is more beneficial when you have heavy tints on your back glass/windows. Just another trivial use for these....aside from the proposed and obvious blinding and annoying of drivers behind you... Seriously, I had a chance to use them in a sudden heavy downpour with very limited visibility. Awesome mod for the money

finally got my on. didn't know what's the gray lock for, so almost kill the old switch. but still very easy, took me only 5 minutes total. the reason i have it is because i can blind the cops. hahaa. If i remember correctly, someone mention that the new fog light button is clicking, not soft touch as the old one. that does not apply to mine, everything is still the same feeling.

Wow, this is MUCH easier than it ever was on the E36 or E46. Congrats to BMW (and whomever found this out) for making the upgrade for attentive drivers much easier to accomplish!

Although the beam height control is not functional, IMO it still looks better than the cancel. |
