So from the Bimmerpsort front page today I noticed this BR performance
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1065967 http://www.br-performance.fr/ They tune N52 too. Here is what I found ( all are in HP estimate, not WHP): N52 MSV80 & disa N52 MSV70 & disa ( sometiems crosslisted for MSV 80 - but i dont believe them) N53 No Disa - This is EU only I compared MSV70 vs MSV80 to see where MSV 70 gets that 10 hp more power Notice that the MSV80 seems to get better Tq

You don't get more power or torque from a computer. The difference between msv70 & msv80 is basically the cpu, the tunes are almost identical. The only reason for a difference in power is tuning, not hardware.

This is The same tuner, on different cars getting different results.
Its either the ECU/DME or OEM Header/Catalic changes. MSV70 seem to get better gains on most plots or even dyno days

There's really little point in comparing the two, whats important are gains from the baseline on the same dyno.

A Guy who works at the same shop I dyno at ran his 128i. He said that it put down 207whp, but the vanos solenoid were bad. Says the car feels even quicker after he replaced them.
