So what all did BMW have to do to make your bumper work? I just got mine yesterday and would like to have a list of things to give to a body shop so I can get a quote. I will be test fitting the bumper soon.

Question for you, as I just did the same front end conversion. I noticed the grills are not clipping in like they did on the factory bumper and actually pop back out. Did you or the body shop have this fitment issue? If so, how did you fix it?

Hey Joe nice build! So after many texting back and forth with Andrey, Mike or whatever his name is I decided that he can send me the lci 1m bumper instead of the pre lci. I did not want to take a chance that he will never refund me. After a long wait it arrived today and did a little test fitting. It's actually not that bad. The area near the headlights are tight and need to be sand down a little. I will be posting my build thread soon. Your car looks Awsome by the way.

Do you have a list of items that needs to be addressed by a body shop? I haven't had time to test fit mine yet.

I'm actually doing the sanding and fitting myself. I like working on cars so no need to have the paint shop do it. I'll let everyone know how it turns out in the end with pictures when I'm done.

Nice! I find the ducting on the 1M bumper a bit distracting since it's just those little rectangle ducks. Must do MSport rear with a nice CF diffuser!

Sorry been moving into my house, yes BMW did all the work which included sanding by the headlights to make it fit flush. Also behind the front bumper by the headlight as you mount on you'll see some plastic tabs. Trim those pieces so it'll sit flush. Also I had them smooth out the headlight washer cut outs as I don't have them

My kidney grill pieces snapped in, however I heard others zip ting theirs

Correct with the air ducts I might use honey comb grill mesh instead

At first it did have fitment issues around the fenders lining up correctly and headlights. Sanding the headlight area corrected the fitment issue and now fits like a glove
