Wonderful work from a guy who is classically trained in music and professionally in sound engineering is doing dubstep tunes nowadays.

Good posting...I like this one alot as it seems constructed a lot more thoughtfully than a lot of the other remixes...not sure if it makes any sense but to me a lot seem to just be interested in pushing the dubstep element to the most outrageous and bassiest lines, extreme sounds that don't really go with anything. They just start out with with the original and drop a dubstep beat that doesn't really go with anything. This one incorporates the extremer sounds without sounding like it's doing so just for the sake of it. If that makes any sense.

Probably the same reason that Pixies Bassnectar is my favorite in the thread so far...both elements work together nicely

seems that's more downtempo / almost trip-hop with a few subtle bass lines than straight up dubstep. maybe i've become too accustomed to heavily modulated bass and huge drops

that's not to say that dubstep can't be mellow and slow-paced. i just think this fits the genre much better
