Terribly sorry Ive been extremely busy and the e90 was not on the list of priorities, sold the 330xi and the e46 was in a hit and run, don't even have time for the Skyline, just sitting in my garage.
Once I do this there will be a diy no doubt about it, the matter is when I will be able to do it. |

Yes, I shouldve let you know.
Its flawless, the work you guys did was perfect, the muffler guy even said it was the nicest custom job he'd ever seen. The way I designed it removed all drone, and the corners in the piping brought the backpressure back, so its free flowing, sounds perfect, and picked up on torque, im talking noticeable throw you to your seat torque. Thanks again, youre the man. |

id love to hear it if you get a chance to shoot a video, I really wondered how it would work out the way it was made up but if your holding pressure with a muffler delete then thats awesome! Losing weight, gaining power = Win. Let me know when your ready and ill take care of you |

Ill email you a video as soon as I can. I was thinking about distribution of this, but this thing is too exclusive, so we'll keep it on the DL |

The install took approx 3.5 hours. I didn’t need the vent hose because the manifold on my 325 is exactly same except for the valves as 330 manifold. You can compare the manifolds on realoem.com. I still don’t have any tune and it works flawlessly at any rpms.

Anyone know the torque specs on the bolts for the 3 stage intake manifold? Just got the ecu back from oetuning and will put the 3 stage intake manifold on on Monday. I assume 8-10 ft lb of torque on the composite manifold??? Please let me know if you know the correct torque specs.

Awesome Thread!!! (Subscribed!)
Just had a quick question, if anyone has tried this or has info on it: Can I put the three stage manifold on my 328 XiT (MY 07) and have the dealer flash my ECU with 330 software and achieve the 330's HP level? The reason I am looking at using the stock software is I still have a few years of warranty left and/or I am worried about cold weather issues with aftermarket tunes (probably won't have any, but had a bad experience with a shark injector years ago) Thanks for all the effort that went into this thread, the info and the conversion! Kudos!!!

- The Gintani tune will bring your HP levels up. (but we have no proven dyno results on the exact gains on an n52 328 with software + manifold) - The dealer shouldn't see the tune (unless they are specifically evaluating your ECU) - I do not think the dealer will reflash a non specific model software to a different model. aside from the dealer cost, you will probably have to have a very close relationship with your tech and still run the risk of voiding some parts of the warranty due to the use of the "wrong" manifold. I am pretty sure there are some manufacturer software conflicts/safeguards in doing this as well. That is why the Gintani tune steals some of the 330 control/air-fuel elements and camoflauges them under a vehicle specific tune. My advice is to wait out your warranty and go nuts once its over. We should begin to see major tuning breakthrus as more and more cars come off warranty. |

Also, if you want to play it safe you can load the factory 330 specs onto your dme. I'm not sure how this will work out on a 328 though. It should really be that different.
