How does Paypal providing shipping come into play?

I nay be wrong, but its somthing like... FCP only reimburses you for the product and not the shipping. But if you pay and return through PayPal, you get the full amount (return for product and shipping).

Hopefully it didn't breach the front seal . What kinda noise was it making? Mine has been making a wobble sounding one for ages and it's been getting a bit louder. I'm gonna look into a pulley now.

I've been fighting this same thing for some time. I recently made the switch from Bilstein B8 with H&R sport springs to Koni yellows/H&R sport springs. Replaced all hardware ( strut mounts, spring perches and shims). Still had the clucking. Re-torqued my M3 control arms, the right way this time and that helped a bit. Checked my adjustable end links and they are a little rough. I just ordered a new pair, I would look into that if I were you and make sure to adjust them while the car is on the ground and have a buddy sit in the passenger seat.

Good deal! I thought that was located in the headliner right in front of the rear window?

That could be a game changer for me, thanks! Although I've already bought big jugs of oil and coolant!

Redid the last half of the diffuser brake light wiring. Now it has nice solid wire all the way through (not thin wire that broke every time I pulled it). I have also added a connector to the brake light itself. Its made removing the diffuser much much easier

Yes, biggest fear there. And only myself to blame! It was making serious clattering sound... not a wobble sound. Frequency matched RPM. First heard it driving home, parked it, and then again driving to indy. That's when it seized and shredded the belt. Literally as I was on the phone with my Dr. for a phone appt and 200 yards from the shop! Was trying to get there before either of those happened, but gambled wrong on both accounts.

EDIT: It's all good, no seals popped today!!! Now my wife's 528i is in the shop, probably with a BSD system error that is going to hose it. Fingers crossed on that one after dodging this bullet!!!

Might be different on the e93 I think. It was mentioned to me that the e93 has two diversity modules one for top down and top up. Not entirely sure

That explains it! On the e90 sedan, I thought it was in the headliner. I know that in the e91 wagon it is inside the rear spoiler. No idea on e92 but apparently now know on an e93! :-) But glad it was fixed and you get tunes now!!!

Finally started to actually tear the car apart today for the single. Stock turbos ready to come out. Just have to disconnect oil lines.

The whole process is a lot easier than i thought and is going wayy quicker. Going to pick up a new electric ratchet in the AM, i have no clue where mine went and it is such a pain not having one anymore.

Hopefully on my next work weekend the car will be all back together and running. Doing this on jackstands and the subframe hanging from the suspension.

Oh also my suspicions of the turbos being changed around 100k before i got it are true & who ever installed them didnt do a great job. Missing hardware, loose hardware, & had a few bolts in PITA spots that they put back in almost completely rounded off that caused some slight nightmares

Changed mine on the E92, and could be wrong as it was a long time ago, but thought I change a module up by the headliner/high brake light. My reason for changing I think was short key fob range

Yeah my key fob range is non-existent at the moment. Once swapping the module it worked perfectly for a day and it fixed the audio problems I had. Audio still sounds good and works fortunately but my keyfob range woes continue.

I think thats just a bmw thing. Put the fob under your jaw and it'll help extend the range

Hey, you could have had two glass jugs of water in the trunk...

What could possibly go wrong?!?!? A lot of cautionary tales being told here!

Here's the compressor BTW... or at least what was left of it! 220k miles on it since 2006. And yes, the oil pan gasket has been replaced :-)
