Watchdog & Wheels - Here we go
Right then, got a busy day tomorrow, as yours truly and some other bloke called are guests of the BBC doing some filming for some show called Watchdog. Goes out on Thursday night at 8pm. Something to do with Cracked Alloy Wheels. They just happen to have mine and some others in the Studio - I never did make that Coffee Table with them.
Cant say much more, but I know there will be a gaggle of us in the Studio with similar experiences, and a certain poster on here (not me) has already done a filmed interview in his house by the BBC. BMW will be aware by now so posting this wont exactly surprise them. I've got a hectic few days coming up, collect the 335i tomorrow morning, and I'm in Belfast on Wednesday, Meetings Thursday, so hope the show goes well. Please keep the sticky going for all those with cracked wheels, I'll leave it up to Viv/Tone if they wants to merge the threads. |

Its a shame Nikky Campbell isn't the one who's tearing shreds of BMW. Really don't like the new format of Watchdog with that moose Anne Robinson and the two Rogue Trader jokers. Should be a serious factual programme not hammed up to be so called 'entertainment'. |

Sky + already set
My car goes in for its first service on Thursday, it would be quite ironic if they told me I had 4 cracked alloys (225's) on the same day as BMW got nailed on national TV |

Paul, as per previous PM's, great result mate
I really hope that it makes BMW realise that this is NOT the norm! I have never heard of any other brands wheels cracking with the same frequency as these BMW 19" rims. Hope it goes well for you! Who has done the interview already? (Or is it a secret) Looking forward to the show!! Paul |

Can't wait to see what the BMW response is. If they cave and start sorting people out with new wheels I will have a bit more confidence when I come to purchase (still savign those pennies at the moment).

Some of you have PMd me in the last couple of hours to say congratulations and well done on progressing the 'alloy wheel saga' onto the Watchdog programme.
Just to say that I have had nothing to do with this whatsoever, and all the credit needs to go to Paul (PJS) and any other people that have been involved with him in pursuing this. Well done you!
