I'm guessing it will. Like rhombus said, ESS has a 128i guinea pig with an N51. The major difference between the two engines is what, the compression ratio right? And the N51's have the 3 stage IM to make up for that so hopefully the gains will be similar. I'm crossing my fingers that they are because I have an N51 myself lol .

I had an experience with header and PE muffler, it was auful. The best setup I found for myself are headers and the rest full stock US exhaust (secondary cats in place). On euro cars there is only main cats.

So nothing is done past the TB and under the intake? What about the hoses under the intake for the PCV system? Any problems/issues with giving it positive pressure?

DynoJet dynos measure about 10% higher than Mustang dynos.

Maybe in Russia. Euro cars have primary and secondary cats.
BTW: I have good experience with headers and secondary cats removed.

Well not really.. as far as I know only the RHD/UK version has primary and secondary cats. I've never seen a mainland European car with secondary cats.

I’ve never seen any E9x without primary and secondary cats over here and in Germany.
I’ve never seen midpipes without cats in any parts catalogue for EU LHD.

Here's the first dyno:

Gains are good for first runs on 91 fuel. There's a bit of a dip on this chart on the low end that's already been worked out once the car as been allowed to adapt - we'll be posting these next update. Some miles were driven over this past weekend and we were able to rescan it to see if there were any gremlins present. All clear.

Seems the fuel system gets maxed out at ~270whp, so the file has been detuned a bit (for safety) and a new pulley/FPR is already on its way from ESS for round 2. No doubt about it, this is one awesome wagon.

Should be no problem hitting the 300whp mark. Will be following up with updates shortly.

Thank you for sharing. Looks like you got the expected 'safe' 60whp as advertised and with more fuel will get the expected 'safe' 80whp. Knowing this car has removed some restrictions, do you have any plans to slightly increase the boost?

A Stage 1 Plus kit is being tested as well, as this particular example meets the needs with exhaust flow and intake. As long as everything appears good on the dyno and there's no drivability problems, then we can see about pushing the envelope a bit further, keeping all vitals within safe levels.

I am assuming these are WHP.

Car already has headers and is catless and was making 229HP. With FI, it's making 288 and has gained 59 HP. Not bad way to spend $5k (estimating) for ~$85 per HP. (for comparison headers cost bw $60 and $120 per HP).

Would a stock (stock headers and exhaust) N52 be able to achieve 288 WHP without headers (or at least 270WHP)?

Very impressed with the numbers. Can not wait to see what the new FPR and pulley are capable of. When I see it put down 300+whp I will be fully sold!

Love the wagon. As Tom has posted this is our stage 1 kit which we rate to make about +60 whp. Our stage 1+ we are still working on.

Very confident that the stage 1+ with headers will make more than 300whp and probably around 250-270 tq.
