Which Coolant?

I have a 2011 320D and noticed the coolant level is down a bit, however the sensor light did not come on so not too low. I know I can top up with distilled water.

I am going on a long drive in a couple of weeks and would like to top up the coolant and keep a bottle of coolant in the car for the trip.

I am guessing most will say get BMW coolant?

Is anything else compatible? Maybe from Supercheap.

BMW coolant is $15 for 1.5 litres from clickable. They will charge $10 freight, I bought 4 bottles last time. A good deal.

Cheers, badmanners.

Genuine BMW coolant is not that expensive. It is concentrate so you will need to mix it before use.

The Nulon blue is BMW compatible if you're stuck on a weekend.
