Did you reuse the plastic radiator drain plug? Once it comes out, it will not work the same way. It's a one time use plug.
I didn't, the new radiator came with one

Definitely coolant? Any place where rubber meets metal is a problem waiting to happen imo. Who knows man, sounds like you'll have to get it back in the garage to tell. I wish you luck though.

Thanks man. And definitely coolant, my reservoir was basically empty earlier. Luckily my buddy saved the day with a 50/50 mix already in his trunk

Got it home on ramps and I still can't figure out where it's coming from. Most of the fluid is coming from the middle in between the fan shroud and the radiator it looks like.

It could be that line that's at the bottom of the radiator that has a bunch of different connections and outlets. I believe one side of it goes to the bottom of the reservoir and the thermostat and another in the center goes to the heat exchanger for the transmission. Though I don't think that usually breaks surprisingly.

I was thinking that but its so hard to tell. It somewhat appeared as if it was coming from above the heat exchanger but the path was dry near it (which would make sense). Thought it could have traveled from me driving too. I cleaned it up and waiting for it to leak more

And finally put a proper dual OCC in place: RB external w/ Mishi for low load and Turner passenger side for high load

I'd guess a stone went into your radiator through the grill.

I was thinking that "Water" is an unusual name for such a pretty lady.

That looks great. Reminds me of the e60 n54 oil cooler setup I'm surprised more people don't use it since it sits in front of the radiator

HAHAHA, the colour is listed in the OP signature ( Vermillion Red) but I understand why you missed it.

Picked up an oil cooler from an n54 at the junkyard. This car seems like the owner was swapping the engine and it fell on the radiator support leading to him saying "fuck this shit" and junked it
