We have very good news for all 3-series forum members that have been on the fence about the CIC, Combox and 6NR ConnectedDrive retrofits.

We not only prepared five CIC retrofit kits that can be ordered in this group buy but we also let you order the Combox and 6NR ConnectedDrive options to make it the most complete multimedia retrofit for your BMW.

But wait this is not everything you can get...

At BimmerTech we always make sure that our customers are fully satisfied with our services so we decided to make this group buy truly exceptional and we are also including installation of the ordered kit at one of our certified installation facilities

How does the CIC kit installed for under $2000 sound to you?

Group Buy Rules:

1.This is for the E9x vehicles only and there are only five kits in total available

2.Only one of the following retrofit kits can be ordered:
- CIC Retrofit kit
- CIC/Combox Retrofit kit
- CIC/Combox/6NR Retrofit kit

3.This group buy is only for those of you who can bring their cars to one of our installation locations:

It is not possible to have your order shipped directly to you.

4.To reserve your kit you need to do the following:
- post in this thread to confirm your interest in our special offer
- send us an email with "E9x Group Buy" in the subject line and include your VIN, which kit you would like to order and which of our installers you prefer (emails with different subject might be delayed)
- we shall reply to you with the price and payment options
- after we receive your non-refundable deposit your kit will be reserved

5.There is no minimum number of people who have to sign up - we shall accept even a single order.

6.This group buy will be closed on no later than June 15th, 2012


Retrofit kits available in this group buy:

1.The E9x CIC kit will include:
- CIC head unit (Euro spec, updated to the latest software)
- HD screen
- iDrive controller
- Video cable
- Screen connector
- CIC USB port
- CIC USB cable
- CIC plastic trim (if required)
- Plug and Play activation of Navigation and Voice Control
- 2012 maps
- Full retrofit coding
- Video in motion activation
- Installation at one of our certified facilities

If you would like to change the PnP activation to the OEM version or add some additional parts (e.g. center console trim) please let us know about it.
Your car must have the Navigation option installed.


2.The E9x CIC/Combox kit will include:
- E9x CIC kit listed above
- Combox Media module
- Combox PnP harness
- Full retrofit coding
- Internet/BMW Live activation
- Installation at one of our certified facilities

Your car must have the Bluetooth option installed.

The Combox retrofit will give you the following features:
- Better Bluetooth integration
- Bluetooth audio
- Album art covers
- Office menu
- Internet/BMW Live (requires tethering)


3.The E9x CIC/Combox/6NR kit will include:
- E9x CIC/Combox kit listed above
- 6NR ConnectedDrive kit
- Full retrofit coding
- Installation at one of our certified facilities

You must have the 6FL option (USB port in the armrest) installed.

The 6NR ConnectedDrive retrofit will give you the following features:
- BMW Apps
- BMW Plugin
- Video playback
- Video/Plugin in motion


If your car does not meet the hardware requirements mentioned above we shall inform you about the additional cost of parts you need to order from us.
