DME adaptations?

So what are all of the DME adaptations? I have a 330xi 6MT with all the packages. I can't find anything about them. Thanks in advance!

What you mean by DME adaptation ? There os non, you can update firmware in your dme and thats pretty much it , or you can also synchronise dme with cas or ews , but really didnt see dme adaptation options before

WRONG!!!

There are adaptations that can be reset through INPA for the dme.

Adaptations such as:
-idle alignment
-octane reset
-load variable reset
-throttle body rest
-vanos reset
-cold air reset

There are a few more, but these are what I can remember while away from the comp.

so what happens when you reset those adaptations? The car just automatically relearns itself?

Is this the same reset that Mike Miller was talking about when you replace the transfer case fluid?

Yes it will relearn it based on your driving conditions. When I switch from different octance fuels, I usually reset it to adapt faster (eventually the car will adapt to the new fuel).

Reset them with the engine off. If you reset the throttle body while the car is starts (for eg), your car will stall.

Nope. You need to go into the transfer case module and reset it (as of now I cannot do that through INPA).

When you say reset, does it mean that everything is erased and then the car is back to “normal”?, I can't find that option or I'm not looking in the right place. i have a 330xi n52 automatic
