Just wanted to give everyone a few tips before they use their ethanol test kit by Fuel-It. I received mine yesterday and had some "e85" from a Sheetz gas station I wanted to test and compare it to BP "e85." Well, when I went to gently shake the gas/water mix like the directions stated,the lid leaked a tiny bit of gas out and down the side of the tube. No big deal,I'll just wipe it off, right? When I wiped it off, the numbers and lines on the tube wiped right off the tube. So my suggestions are 1) tighten that tube lid as tight as possible before you shake it and 2) put some packaging tape or something similar over the printed numbers and lines before your first use just incase you spill some gas on it. Otherwise, it's a nice little kit, seems like it will do the job just fine. Just keep the gas off the writing!
