Aluminum Charge pipe and IC smog legal in Cali?

Just wondering if an aftermarket charge pipe (OEM DV's) is legal in Cali? Or do you have to put the OEM plastic one back in to pass? Upgraded IC is that okay?

If it has a CARB sticker then its legal. If it doesn't, it isn't. Assume in Cali that everything is illegal and you will be safe.

Is your CP bling bling or is it matte black/gloss black? If the latter, I don't think its an issue. Just talk to the smog tech beforehand to see if he has any issues with it.

With regard to FMIC, its fine. They won't dig in there to see if its a non-stock part unless its obvious that it isn't stock (e.g., branded stencil painted on the front of the FMIC)

I believe you'll be fine with the charge pipe since it's connected to the oem diverter valves, if you had a aftermarket BOV you'd possibly fail. The inter-cooler is fine as well.

My buddies a smog tech, he said youll be fine as long as youre not throwing any codes

Intercooler and charge pipe are supposedly not considered smog items but, as mentioned, if you have vent to atmosphere BOV/DV's it's not going to pass.
