If it's still too loud then, hook a 1-2 ft piece of hose to the vent of the BOV and point it down to the ground.
That is assuming you have the HKS recirculating insert.

Not meant to hijack, but in a similar situation. Running meth with ER and Tial. Don't like the meth blowing off into bay. How can I switch the Tial to recirculate?

Take it out entirely and sent the charge pipe back and get connections for Diverter valves...I just cant understand why people install a bov and also have meth injection.

Actually I am in contact with ER now. Am leaning strongly toward getting a whole new pipe (the longer version this time so I can place the bungs at the elbow area and get rid of the oem rubber elbow) with the BOV connections. |

Where did you buy this from and how do you install it? I am tired of that stupid high pitched chirp from the HKS BOV.

Trade it in for a TiAL or Synapse BOV

Can someone comment on putting the recirculation fitting on the HKS BOV? It essentially turns it into a Diverter Valve correct? Any pros or cons?

I have my HKS BOV with insert also, I can't hear it when I cruise under 3k rpm. With window up and music on, nothing at all... |
