Just remove the insert entirely. That is as quiet as it'll get and will eliminate the high pitch sound.

If it's still too loud then, hook a 1-2 ft piece of hose to the vent of the BOV and point it down to the ground.
That is assuming you have the HKS recirculating insert.

If it's too loud just recirculate it.

I can't even hear my Tial when I shift. It's probably not that loud at all.

Not meant to hijack, but in a similar situation. Running meth with ER and Tial. Don't like the meth blowing off into bay. How can I switch the Tial to recirculate?

Take it out entirely and sent the charge pipe back and get connections for Diverter valves...I just cant understand why people install a bov and also have meth injection.

you can also contact a tial distributor and get the recirculation fitting, it's not terribly expensive and will allow you to run a hose down from the engine bay to vent

I can answer that one very easily....for me anyway...inexperience.

Actually I am in contact with ER now. Am leaning strongly toward getting a whole new pipe (the longer version this time so I can place the bungs at the elbow area and get rid of the oem rubber elbow) with the BOV connections.

That would save me some $ obviously. Thanks for the info. May look into that.

Where did you buy this from and how do you install it? I am tired of that stupid high pitched chirp from the HKS BOV.

Tial is probably the quietest BOV compared to Synapse and Tial and is actually my #1 seller.

Can someone comment on putting the recirculation fitting on the HKS BOV? It essentially turns it into a Diverter Valve correct? Any pros or cons?

Is there any room for adjustments on the blow off valve itself, to remove that annoying chirping sound?

I have my HKS BOV with insert also, I can't hear it when I cruise under 3k rpm.

With window up and music on, nothing at all...
