2. There have been innumerable alarmist claims often with dates for the calamities occurring. You can Google this stuff. Many inconvenient truths that were false. I'm just not going to be your bitch and post them. |

You can't possibly be saying there is no climate change

Rate of change. And the numerous effects that has on plants, animals and migration, ocean temps, permafrost, the list goes on, but the rate of change and computer modeling for effect of CO2 matches. Last edited by RM7; 07-20-2023 at 09:35 AM.. |

Fun fact: 1930s saw the coldest period in modern history and that is when CO2 level rose the most. Science is not determined by consensus. but by experiment and observations. |

The more people know about weather and climate, the less they realize they actually know. It's... chaotic.

Yeah that was hastily written. Just trying to say that there is a lot going on in the climate. It can't just be written off as a simple contained system. Basically it's a rabbit hole trying to understand how it works. There's geological factors (earthquakes, volcanoes), sea currents, solar anomalies, etc.... Adding some numbers, there's something like 6.6 billion cubic kilometers of atmosphere and it varies so wildly. Oceans are around 1.3 billion cubic kilometers and the same deal.

Which of these would you expect to have the greater effect, concentration/amount or % change of CO2? The answer is it depends, but concentration ultimately reaches a critical level where the change starts measurably warming the climate. While related, you can increase 100%, then 50% then 25% and only at the last point you have reached the concentration level where you’ve thrown the self-regulating balance out of whack and can now measure the rapidly rising temp. The fall back position of the climate activist, the personal insult. Go get that Geology 101 Book, it will do you a world of good.

GM promises to speed up EV production.
https://insideevs.com/news/677660/gm...ev-production/ A grand total of 49 Hummer EV's produced in first half of 2023. What an embarrassment. Mary Barra continues to get a pass though from the media. GM's battery scaling has been a complete sh*t show. |
