I'm not sure, I'll snap pics when I get mine installed (which unfortunately won't be for a while it seems). Anyone else got any info?

Is there anyway that UUC might be able to get you a list of their authorized installers nationwide?

I live in NM and I doubt we have an authorized installer. If I have to drive to Denver to get it done though, on estimate how long would a job like the rear sway take? I figure if I'm going to have to pay to get the rear sway installed might as well have them install the front too.

But for now, he took my number and will be contacting me with the next steps as soon as he knows them.

So...for right now just sit tight, we'll wait on their call. In the mean time, contact ANYONE you know that has an xi. Honestly, if you remember someone from another thread that drove an xi but you didn't see them here, PM THEM! The more people we have the easier it will be to guarantee 20 deposits and 20 sales.

Also, in terms of fitment, they need to get together with engineering and discuss the car first. I'll ask again in our next conversation. To me it seems they should fit no problem...but that's just speculation.

Again, thanks for the support guys!
I ordered my rear sway bar already. Im on your list of 20 so when the front comes out Ill buy that one as well. I should be getting it on Monday. Cant wait to have it installed.

bump! If anyone is interested in this and is not on the list please post here or PM me!

There's not much we can do at this point although I try to give them bi-weekly calls...I suppose the next one will be sometime next week. I'll be sure to keep you all posted though! I still have a ways to go until I can even get my rear installed, if any of you get it installed before me please post. I'll post a full writeup on that when it's installed though. I'm also trying to sell my soul for coilovers and camber plates before that so hopefully my writeup will be on a full suspension remake on the 335xi. Anyway, I'll get back to you guys soon!

I stumbled on this by complete accident. What luck.

Please put me down for front and rear. Our last attempt via **********s and some unnamed vendor never panned out. Hopefully we'll some traction here. 'Scuse the pun.

Wow, I love how all these manufacturers thought there wouldn't be enough of a following of xi's and now we have almost 30 people already! Way to go guys!

I hope UUC gets back to me soon....

Well i got my rear one installed yesterday. From what I hear its a bitch to install. The entire subframe has to come off in order to install it. But it does make a difference. i cant wait for the front to come our already. Damn I wish UUC would get to work and get it done.

He charged me $200 to install but this is a head tech at one of the BMW dealerships near me so he does all my installs himself at the service department. I get written up for warranty work while he does the install. For example he charged me $50 to install my short shift kit while if I did it paying BMW Ide get charged 2 hours of labor which is aobut $230.00. He also found out that he can install the bmw performance suspension into my 335xi coupe even though it says its for a E90 only. He looked at my suspension and then at the performance suspension and said it would match up. He isnt sure why bmw hasnt approved it for E92's. But it will sit lower on an e92 than on a e90 since the e92 weighs a bit more.

Ugh, just got the appointment for the sways...have to wait until June 14th Also put in time for camber plates...idk if I'll have enough cash by then for coilovers. We'll see. Congrats cycler!

I'll be calling UUC this week again so hang in there guys!

Oh...and as you can see by cycler's post, the sways do fit, do work, and are certainly cheap enough to purchase and install. So, any of you that wanted sways I would really suggest purchasing the rears now rather than later as it will just guarantee UUC notices the interest.

The E92 weights LESS than E90.

E90 335xi = 3814 lbs

E92 335xi = 3759 lbs

and this weight difference probably won't affect ride height.

On the other hand...do you feel any improvements in handling with the rear sway bar only installed?

I do feel the difference in the way the car handles. Ive noticed it on tight turn. is it a dramtic difference where you say i must have it no. Im sure once the front is installed and the car is lowered thats when I will notice a dramatic difference. All those features combined will make the difference.

What did you pay for the rear bar? Can this be installed yourself?

No it can't be installed yourself. Currently they're 50% of the price of the set.

I have a very hard time believing this. Spool and I attempted to install the OEM sport suspension from a 335I onto my 335XI coupe and it did NOT fit. The bottom of the struts on the XI taper MORESO than the struts on the I. We tried and tried, but were unable to get the I strut to fit into my XI's hub. In addition, even IF you were able to fit them in, the XI has a front diff and cv joint. The strut on the XI is shorter so that the bottom which runs through the hub doesnt make contact with the CV joints. However the I suspension slides alot farther down the shaft of the hub since there is NO cv joint. I would be very surprised if he was able to make it work (if he actually even swapped your struts and not just your springs. I believe the springs can be swapped but the struts cannot.

One other note, side by side the XI strut is at least .5'' shorter than that of the I....not sure how thast even possible considering it sits alot higher...but thats how it is

Im not sure either. This is what the head tech at the bmw service department told me. He will try if the performance suspension doesnt fit..it goes right back on the shelf and my old suspension goes back on. So you may be right.
