Piss. Oh well.

It has to use a different valve set up than the PSS9. It will either be open or closed to a set percentage for the two settings. Will it provide a "sportier" ride than the PSS9's? I don't know. It may be targeted for a "different" customer. I would say that the PSS9 is a more agressive offering with greater flexability. I wonder if the street setting is like 7/8 and the sport setting like 2/4 on the PSS9's?

what is the major difference between the 2? Can the 1st one be sell has a "upgrade" to the kit?

And why M-Sport E90 canīt fitted with the B16 PSS9 Ride Control coil over?

We're not allowed. F1 used to have it but, it was banned.

We do have a 7 post where we can take our test data and simulate it on a car at the shop. Then make changes and see how it effects things on the rig.

I saw a group buy on these the other day. I'm kind of interested.

So no on-board changes allowed?
Carl Edwards was a former student of mine. Really decent person. Amazing driver.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to rig the spring (maybe helper spring) to adjust to synch with adjustments to the damping? I never liked the idea of being able to adjust the shock valving without changing the spring rates to match.

This is a very interesting question, and the answer may depend the springs rate along with the difference in shock pressure.

Without the additions of any parts, I would adjust the spring pirch (height) accoring to the shock rate.

Just so yall know, I called Bilstein and these are definitely NOT AVAILABLE FOR XIs.

Bavarian autosports (bavauto.com) also had these listed as compatible for 335xi until I bought them, heard they don't work, called bilstein, and then returned them. I think they've updated their site now.

Maybe one could tune a progressive spring in such a way that the [change in] spring rates would match increased damping during more aggressive driving.

Ahh, I see where you're going. I really wonder how this can work.

A springs rate is from the hardware's materials and tension. The material can not be altered, but maybe diameter of the spring? This is an interesting idea.

I know, weak sauce. I actually ordered these and then had to return them. I believe bavauto.com updated their site so that they are no longer listed as compatible with the 335xi so i feel like i accomplished something anyway...

Hello

Hey guys, I'm looking at having this setup installed on my car soon. I was in a little accident and screwed up the right side of my car and they have to replace the suspension. So I am going to upgrade. I'm going to call the shop in the morning and see if they can order this. I'm also going to have 18" BMW performance package wheels installed. I'll post sometime next month after the install and let you know what it's like. Any other suggestions for suspension parts while it's in the shop? Thanks,
James

Where did you hear this? I was not aware that there was any issue with the M-sport E-90 fitting.

In regard to the springs, just look at the pics.
