I dont drag race, but I've seen it in multiple threads. So I only assume the others are just lazy to answer such a question of a man who's too lazy to use

I went to the dragstrip a couple times last year for a total of I think 8 runs.
My best launches were holding at 4500 RPM, dump the clutch, and roll up to full throttle once the car is moving well. Don't punch it too soon or you will get too much wheelspin. There are a lot of variables. I was running the stock runflats at 30 psi and somewhere around 70 degrees. Are you on a sticky track? A slick track? |

I would assume we have too much torque to dump the clutch on street tires. I would try a low rpm launch and slip the clutch all the way through 1st?? I drive a step, but have driven my friends 6mt and traction is definitely an issue from a dig.
Considering your in Vancouver we should get a group of us together and hit mission on the street legal nights. |

hold rpm at about 2000, slightly push the gas pedal to get rpm moving up slightly before letting clutch out, feather the clutch out about 30-50%, hear the tires spin a few times and catch(this takes a fraction of a sec) then let it out all the way. =13.400 in 1/4
