is Quaife ATB differential a Helical LSD? please let me know if you know

No. It is a continuous variable locking diff which they have a patent on I believe and can lock form 0-100-0 depending on load axle speed. It is also warrantied for life. Can't go wrong with the Quaife. Every car should have one. Read up on their web site for some good info.

thank you the only reason i was asking is for drifting i know from guys in nissan forums that Helical is bad for drifting

Pretty sure its only 80% for the aftermarket one. The one in the e92 M3 is 0-100-0.
