My friend goes to MSU Law School so I'll be out there sometime this year. I like your tints. I'm thinking of getting mine tinted, but I'm not sure how dark I want (don't want probs with the law). What do you recommend? My car before this was 40 but I heard white cars tint looks lighter?

I went 35% all around, its dark enough without being too dark. I have been pulled over and everything without mention of the tint. The state police at work have even complimented my car when I pulled into the parking garage. I got it done at AutoOne on Waverly in Lansing, they have worked on every car I have ever owned and always done an amazing job! If your in town for a few hours, I would highly reccomend them! When your planning on comming to town shoot me a PM, we can meet up for drinks or something!!

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the input. I'm picking up my new 08 coupe tomm at 4 PM. I have an 07 JB coupe right now but trading it in towards that. I worked with Erhard in Farmington Hills, and complained a lot about all the fuel pump problems I was having...helped bring the price down!

You just missed the Dream Cruise Meet a couple weekends ago, we hit up the auto show every year normally, there is a couple meets in the area too posted here on the regional forums... there was talk of a go kart meet, but I have not heard much about that since it was first brought up. Just keep your eyes on these forums, we do get together a few times a year minimal.

I'm pretty pissed my alum. trim is like dented or chipped my CA said only way to fix is to replace...ugh. Think you can use ScratchX on it? Will it harm it? It may just be something I'm seeing, who knows.

If its already dented, might as well try it. You can get CF trim in black/silver/titanium for like $550 in the vendors section, or wait for someone to part out or want to swap trim in the members sale section. If the dents are not very deep you may be able to suction cup them out.

Getting some 1-series owners to show up would be awesome at the next meet.

D-Town represent...
'06 330i owner here in Clinton Twp. Originally from Troy. Hopefully, I'll soon own an '08 E92 335i or xi. Which brings me to the other thread I started inquiring about the realistic needs of an XI here in the Detroit area. I drive downtown daily for work. I don't track. But I am a spirited driver. HELP PLEASE! I've been racking my brain (and annoying the piss outta my wife) with this dilemma for the past week.
