where are you getting the swap done? Any idea on how much it's going to run you?

Doing it myself. Stock parts run people roughly 1-1.5k. Clutch/FW another 800-1.5k. Car will immediately be worth 3-4k more in my opinion anyways after the swap.

I honestly think it'll lower your cars resale value, not increase it. I get that 6MT are more desirable but keep in mind that the car will be considered heavily modded and will probably decrease the value.

People will run the vin, see that's it's an AT but then you'll have to explain that you converted it to a 6MT which will scare some folks away.

However, I do plan on doing the conversion in the future but with no expectations that the car will increase in value

The ship has sailed on the modding, its a big turbo car with all the support. In regard to value, a 6MT big power car is just so much more desirable. Everything in the vehicle is pre-made for the 6 speed besides the 4 clutch wires, so in regard to OEM feel, it wouldn't even be questioned as to whether it was a swap or not. But end of the day anyone interested in a 600whp+ N54 is willing to pay much more for the 6MT based on market value.
