Eibach 28mm front Sway-bar. Will it be noticeably flatter on corners?
I apologize if this has been covered but I did try the search first.
Looking to upgrade to Eibach 28mm front sway-bar (non-adjustable). I have a 2011 328i with sport package with 18" square tire setup. Has anyone swapped this sway-bar on a 328i sport? I would like to know how much less body roll you experienced? and I know it is adding understeer but do you notice that in quick daily driving? aka - not at the track. |

I have that exact sway bar on my 325i, definitely noticeable improvement (stock front struts) after install. Less body roll in the front for sure, the polyurethane bushings do make some noise tho but it does not bother me.

I put the e93 m3 28mm front bar on my sport suspension 335 and it made a big diff in roll and bite, needed bigger tires to take advantage of the flatter attitude, so 245s on the front now with pins pulled and m3 control arms up front. No more understeer!

I have the eibach 28mm front sway bay installed on my car it definitely reduced alot of the body roll my car had in turns. No real down sides. I also have BC coilovers with the adjustable sway end links.

Yes I run both front and rear eibach sways. Noticeable improvement, especially paired with the m3 strut tower. Turn-in is greatly improved.

did you use your stock end links or did you also add the M3 ones?

I installed e93 m3 bushings and front sway bar recently. Used stock end links. On stock control arms with new all around OEM suspension.
The turn in is noticeably quicker and flatter, I would recommend the mod. However, it changes the balance of the car, sort of in a weird way. I’m not sure if it’s just in my head, but it’s almost like the front is dialed in but the rear is still it’s old floaty self. It feels like the rear is trying to follow the front. This is versus the entire car feeling a bit like a boat in the corners with the original sway bars - at least it was consistent. Last edited by porsche959; 08-06-2019 at 12:04 PM.. |

They give you both front & rear upgraded swaybars & bushings. If you have their springs, the swaybars are tuned to the springs. |

You mean the lowering springs found on the b12 kit?

Curious to see the drop of the Eibach Sportline springs on Bilstein B8s

Below is a great, visual, representation of the difference between stock suspension and Eibach suspension + anti-roll(sway) bars.
Should answer your questions.

nice video, but some of those tests seems biased. especially the last braking test, they counter steered with the eibach kit, versus just letting the car swerve stock.

Sure, but some of the cornering footage shows the difference between aftermarket springs/+swaybar.

IMO that video is pretty accurate before and after I did my suspension upgrades. Body roll stock was horrendous.

Highly recommend to any e92 owner, it truly converts the rather steering-dull car into a fun to drive machine .-)
