When to change radiator hoses?

I just hit 100K and will be doing the water pump and thermostat as a preventive measure. Should I do the radiator hoses as well as part of maintenance?

Yes. And it's a good time to do the serpentine belt, if it hasn't been done.

Efthreeoh posted a DIY for all the coolant hoses. He said some of them are extremely difficult and he recommended letting a shop do it for you. He also said that his were still in fine condition after something like ~200k miles.

That said, no harm in replacing the upper and lower hose if you choose to do so. Those are both pretty easily accessible and aren't too expensive.

Some people have issues with the breather hose that runs from the expansion tank to the upper hose, so you might replace that one. Be careful not to damage where it connects to the tank.

OP, I did my coolant hoses at 8 years and 236,500 miles. They didn't need replacement. I inspected everyone of them, and kept most of them for an emergency repair. At 100K, I doubt they need replacement. But individual cars see different operating environments, so an inspection is really the only way to tell. Rubber ages with time and use.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
